I'm very casual with my legacies and while I do use legacy rules, I tend to follow them as guidelines rather than hard-set rules. I'm here to have fun (*°▽°*)

rq update cause I've been gone for a HOT minute:

* I've had to do a complete wipe of my sims game cause the amount of mods has begun frying ny laptop,,,,, if I were to reinstall the sims again it would be a complete clean install without any mods and low-key? it sounds exhausting to go through absolutely everything and find what I want again

* this also means that my save games are gone as well including my legacy gameplay. if I reinstall now, I'd be either a) starting from scratch or b) attempting to pick up from where I left off which doesn't sound too bad? but it still feels like a slog

* I'm kinda putting a pause on sims gameplay at least for a while,,,,, I do have paralives now but I'm still trying get used to everything and also because it's early access, it has quite a few bugs and stuff to sort out (I'm having fun with it tho!!!)

* I'll prolly pivot to reblogging cc/mods/other legacies like that even if I myself don't play as much.

apparently the newest update just. completely breaks the game if you have mods so ig I'm not going to be playing for a while 🫠

it must be some rotten luck, to have the same birthday but two different mothers, or a twisted prank played by fate. either way, Avery and Hisae are now toddlers, with only Ye-seo for company. Oliver is off... somewhere. Ye-seo thinks he said something about Sualani, barely moments after coming home from the last vacation.

Ye-seo hadn't even had the chance to tell him about Hisae, and she's beginning to dread the next poor woman who shows up at his doorstep with another infant.

(Selfishly, she's grateful that he's not here for this. that she's the one they look to for guidance. they don't deserve a father who only looks at them as though they were trinkets or treasure from the last adventure.)

technically avery and hisae have birthdays one after the other but i thought it would be more fun if they had the same birthday even though their mothers are different. also i haven't really kept track of birthdays (as though actual days on a calender and not a game mechanic), but their birthday falls on harvestfest as well

also i love ye-seo sm,,,,, she's definitely showing a more protective side with a growing resentment for oliver

i think any new children will stay with the mothers but shall be recorded on the family tree

I DID SOMETHING COOL

So, any some of you might know, I run a small but flourishing Sims Discord.

I was struck with inspiration, and Homebrewed around a little, creating my Penumbra Homebrew species! That means, my server now has an additiona perk: Access to my Sims 4 Fantasy D&D Play-by-Post! (For those unaware of the term, its essentially a D&D campaign in text form, running continuously without set session times, just kind of whenever people have time to reply)

Due to the the PbP format and my experience running games like this in VTM, I'm gonna open this up to the public!
