The feeling is so surreal. Keith cuddled and kissed their newborn baby girl. The joy was overwhelming that tears started to stream down.

Before she could rest longer, another contraction came and the immensity caused her to sit up with one hand on the bed and another on her belly as she pushed to get her baby’s shoulder out.

“GAAAAAH GAAAAAHHHH GAAAAAHHHH HO HO HOOOOOO!”

As Kathlyn gripped her rock-hard abdomen when it tightened around her baby, she started to sob as the shoulders caused her agony that she didn’t imagine to be that immense. She dug deep and pushed, moaning out loud as her baby’s first shoulder popped free.

👨 “One more push and she will be here with us, baby. You can do this! Almost there!”

Kathlyn nodded and gave a final, strong push, pushing her baby to slip into her husband’s awaiting hands. Their baby girl’s cry filled the room and both of them looked at each other with a smile.

The moment Keith placed Kathlyn on their bed, another contractions hit.

“NAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHH!”

Kathlyn spread her legs wide apart and grabbed the behind of her thighs as she felt her inside squeezed as it pushed her baby further and it slowly unveiled the baby’s head. From what started at a teardrop, her lips gap widen. The size of the mass between her legs grew with every push. She pushed with everything she had. As she felt the burning sensation of her baby’s head stretching her skin to the widest part, her moaning just got louder.

👩 “Oh, God! It hurts, honey.. it hurts.”

👨 “Just a little bit more and her head will be out, baby. Just another push.”

When Kathlyn felt another contraction coming, she propped herself ready with her chin tucked to her chest and she bore down with the contraction pain that hits. With the strong push, her baby’s head started to emerge and crown.

She felt the relief when she knows her baby’s head is out. Her hand stretched down to feel. She almost can’t belief that she already got the wet head sticking out of her.

👨 “Rest awhile and be ready for her shoulders ok?”

Keith caressed Kathlyn’s fingers trying to comfort her and at the same time giving all the encouragement she needed. For sure this was not what they imagined. He himself had imagined being by her side, holding onto her as she makes her pushes. Certainly not this instance being the one on the receiving hand, seeing their baby stretching his wife so much just to be born.

Kathlyn was just done pulling her dress down while Keith ran down to get the car engine on...

“HONEEEEY!!!!!! NAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHH!!”

Kathlyn couldn’t care less how loud she sounded. The immense pain brought her to her knees. She could feel her baby pressing down against her cervix and her belly pulse with the pressure. Instinctively, her knees widened apart as she felt her baby pushing into her birth canal. Just then she felt the need to push. She was torn between waiting for her husband to be back and bring her to the hospital or to listen to what her body is telling her, that is to push.

“NAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHH!!!”

Nature didn’t want to wait as another contraction forced Kathlyn to bore her hips downwards, leading her baby’s head to slowly inch further into her birth canal. As she felt her entrance pulsed, she placed her hand between her legs. Her fingers reached for her lips area. She felt it bulging. She was close to crowning as the head was right on the cusp of slipping out of her.

👨 “Hey, baby, baby. I’m sorry. Come, let’s head to the hospital.”

👩 “I don’t think we have time, honey.”

Kathlyn reached for her lips again, and at the same time Keith lowered his head to have a look. Keith’s eyes widened 😲 as he saw the bulge stretching his wife’s lips.

👨 “That’s... that’s....”

👩 “The head, daddy..... NAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHH!!!”

Kathlyn felt their baby’s head inching harder against her lips as she pushed during the next contraction.

👩 “Bed..please.”

Without a word, Keith gently and hurriedly scooped his wife up, then placing her at the edge of their bed.
