Imagine living next to that one neighbor who knows everything about everyone. Now imagine being that neighbor… for ten generations. 😄 But here’s the twist—each generation isn’t just about peeking through the curtains; they turn everyday hobbies and passions into booming businesses! From candle crafting to gardening, photography to baking, your Sims will build legacies rooted in creativity, hustle, and a whole lot of neighborhood charm.
Start with a hobby or skill
Grow it into a side hustle (or empire!)
Face unique neighborhood “scenarios” or drama
Pass the torch—with flair!

The Sims 4: Nosey Neighbor 10-Generation Legacy Challenge
You're not just a Sim—you’re the neighborhood busybody. Whether you're spying from behind the blinds or meddling in romances, your family's legacy is built on curiosity, gossip, and drama. Each generation explores a new form of "nosey behavior" and pushes the envelope of what it means to know everybody’s business.
⚠️ Use of packs like Get Together, Seasons, Parenthood, and Eco Lifestyle enhances the experience, but it's playable with the base game.
Start with one Sim on any empty lot or small starter home.
No money cheats (except freerealestate for the first lot if you want drama in a fancy neighborhood!)
You must complete all goals for each generation before moving to the next.
You can only move to a new world once per generation.
Generation 1: The Window Watcher
You’re the OG nosy neighbor—binoculars, a cup of tea, and way too much free time.
Traits: Paranoid, Neat, Insider
Aspiration: Friend of the World
Career: None (stay-at-home gossip)
Befriend at least 10 Sims in your neighborhood.
Reach level 5 of Charisma.
Witness 3 fights (either by instigating or observing).
Start at least 2 rumors (Mischief skill interactions).
Get caught peeping (snoop with the telescope or be in places you shouldn’t).
Generation 2: The HOA Tyrant
You're all about "property value" and keeping tabs on what everyone's doing with their lawn.
Traits: Perfectionist, Snob, Hot-Headed
Aspiration: Neighborhood Confidante
Career: Civil Designer or Politician (Eco Lifestyle/City Living)
Start a club focused on “keeping the neighborhood clean.”
Visit each neighbor's home once a week.
Report 5 "violations" using mean or mischief interactions.
Reach level 10 Logic skill (because you think you know best).
Sabotage a neighbor's project out of jealousy.
Generation 3: The Gossip Guru
You're charming, well-liked, and always have the tea—even if it’s piping hot lies.
Traits: Outgoing, Self-Absorbed, Jealous
Aspiration: Serial Romantic
Career: Social Media (Public Relations branch)
Have 3 failed relationships due to gossip.
Get caught cheating at least once.
Use the "Mischief – Lie About Career" or "Spread Rumor" interaction 10 times.
Max out Charisma and Mischief.
Run a successful social media page (at least 1 million followers).
Generation 4: The Teen Sleuth
You grew up around gossip, but now you’re a legit detective in training.
Traits: Genius, Loner, Overachiever
Aspiration: Nerd Brain
Career (Teen): Fast Food or Babysitter
Adult Career: Detective (Get to Work)
Join Drama Club or Scouts as a child/teen.
Complete the Whiz Kid aspiration as a child.
Uncover a secret affair or hidden family (parent cheats, secret half-sibling).
Reach level 10 Logic and Fitness.
Solve a mystery on the job (complete 5 detective cases).
Generation 5: The PTA Spy
You’re a helicopter parent with an obsession for other people’s kids. Nothing happens in this school without your approval.
Traits: Ambitious, Good, Nosy (Custom trait or replace with Proper)
Aspiration: Super Parent
Career: Education
Reach level 10 Parenting skill.
Be enemy with at least one other parent Sim.
Control everything your kids do (clubs, skills, school).
Organize weekly dinner parties and judge everyone.
Eavesdrop on a teen’s convo and ground them for it.
Generation 6: The Broke Blogger
You're living in your parents' old shack but blog about your neighbor’s luxury drama like you're on “Desperate Housewives.”
Traits: Lazy, Creative, Noncommittal
Aspiration: Bestselling Author
Career: Freelancer (Writer)
Start a blog with juicy neighborhood stories (journalism/writing).
Have an on/off relationship with a married Sim.
Live in a run-down home but pretend to be wealthy online.
Have at least one viral scandal from your blog.
Reach level 10 Writing and at least 5,000 Simoleons from royalties.
Generation 7: The Fake Psychic
You “sense energies,” but really, you just know how to read people... because you've stalked them.
Traits: Erratic, Self-Assured, Bookworm
Aspiration: Renaissance Sim
Career: None (self-employed fake guru)
Host at least 10 “spiritual” readings.
Predict 5 events (that you secretly caused).
Make enemies with a real spellcaster (Realm of Magic).
Woohoo in a public place after giving a "love reading."
Live in a mysterious, eccentric house full of candles and crystals.
Generation 8: The Actor with Secrets
You're famous now, but your past is filled with lies, drama, and unknown siblings.
Traits: Romantic, Ambitious, Erratic
Aspiration: World-Famous Celebrity
Career: Actor
Keep your real name and family a secret (change name).
Hide a child from the public (have a secret baby).
Reach 5-star celebrity status.
Be in 3 fake relationships for publicity.
Get exposed by a "fan" (enemy sim with Mischief 10).
Generation 9: The Neighborhood Homewrecker
You’ve made it your mission to cause chaos in other people’s marriages... because why not?
Traits: Mean, Alluring, Materialistic
Aspiration: Villainous Valentine
Career: Secret Agent or Criminal
Marry for money and divorce.
Steal items from neighbors' homes (Klepto).
Spread a pregnancy rumor that may or may not be true.
Have a gold-digger lifestyle in a lavish mansion.
Generation 10: The Reformed Recluse
After 9 generations of chaos, you've decided to shut it all down. But can you really leave the drama behind?
Traits: Good, Gloomy, Cat Lover
Aspiration: Inner Peace (Spa Day) or Freelance Botanist
Career: Gardener or stay-at-home herbalist
Move to Henford-on-Bagley or a rural world.
Own 3 animals (cats, dogs, or farm animals).
Cut ties with all previous family members.
Start a diary and max Writing or Wellness skill.
Host a reunion at the end—and decide whether to forgive... or unleash chaos again.
Add in random townies with secrets each generation.
Use MC Command Center to track cheating/pregnancy.
Allow one “wild card” per generation (a random tragedy or twist).
