Hello again!  This time of year can be the worst haha.  It goes so fast and there’s always so much to do!  I’ve played a couple eras of the history challenge, but I want to restart in 2020, extending each era for multiple generations and putting in more effort into the neighborhoods/families.  I’m always a sucker for the prehistoric era (probably because they’re the starters haha), I love Edwardian/Victorian fashion, and western themed items.  I know that isn’t quite an answer to what you asked, but hopefully it helps!

Honestly, I love surprises, so anything you choose to make would be more than appreciated.  I feel like builds and male cc/recolors are generally lacking in my game, despite my best efforts to broaden what I download.  I tend to play legacy style games, and I also really am into historical gameplay.

Simblr Secret Santa

Welcome to Simblr Secret Santa! More information will be rolling out over the next couple weeks, but here are the basics:

Simblrs will sign up and fill out a form indicating their preferences for giving and receiving (Builds! Sims! CC! Mods! Maxis Match! Alpha!). Around the end of November, signups will close. Simblrs will be matched with people with similar preference, and we’ll message you to let you know the deets on your giftee! Around a week before Christmas, creators will post the reveal of their items and who they were created for. Surprise! All gifts should be publicly released by December 31st (share the love, people!) but it’s up to the creator whether they want to make the gift a private download at first!

Please like and/or reblog this post if you think you’d like to participate to a) get the word out there, because the more people that sign up the better, and b) give us a general idea of the scale of this thing, so we can fine-tune the signup form (coming by the end of the month!)

Hello! I’m open to whatever you choose to make. I’ve included some information on preferences and my typical style, but please feel free to push me outside of my comfort zone! :)

I love all the curly hair that has been coming out and I’d love to see some combined with a crown braid (for example a mashup of the Cats and Dogs hair with the Diwali kids hair). For clothes, I tend to use a wider variety of casual tops or dresses than anything else. Anything for male sims is also always appreciated.

It’s almost that time of year again! This blog is ran by one person @smallsimmer and I am hoping to make this year fun and exciting! Now on to the schedule:

Secret Santa will be accepting CC makers from sims 3 and sims 4! We have made a how to join page here and would like for you to read it before you send us an ask!!

We also had this question a lot last year so recolors are fine, sims are fine, any CC you might think of as “small” or “not much” is perfectly fine… We know not everyone can create meshed clothes or HQ skins themselves so we want you all to know that this is open to everyone no matter what they can make.

Additionally starting this year seeing as 90% of our santas dropped last year without telling us and messed up the entire event, if you dropped last year without telling us then really you shouldn’t join but we will still let you, if you are going to drop let us know and I am going to be messaging EVERYONE three days before we give out secret santas if you do not answer us in three days you will be removed from the list and you will not be able to participate

We encourage everyone to join but, if you know that you are going to be busy this holiday season please do not join, it is not a good feeling to not receive a gift when you have worked so hard to give someone else a gift and it is completely not fair to the person you are supposed to be gifting if you completely leave without letting us know.

Furthermore, the past two years we have gotten 2-3 people for ts2 secret santa so we will not be doing them this year since we can never seem to get a good amount of people to join for them.

This is a very rough edit of the wavy child hair from Cats and Dogs.  This hair is really cute but that bow is a bit much. 

To be clear - this is an imperfect edit.  The bow is gone but there was a stubborn shadow painted onto the hair texture.  I’ve removed portions of it but it’s still evident.
