Week 13

Week 13

I am learning that there is a significant amount of work in creating a business, however as we approach the end of the course there is a bit a sadness about leaving this plan behind. I believe that these feeling are a signal that i woul want to start this business in real life.

Week 12

The project is well underway, and is only improving! A lot of hard work has been done to get here. but Simply Green has gotten off the ground and is thriving. 

In the begining there wasnt much of a business but now as we aproach the end of the course i have produced an indepth buisness to its marketing, logistics, and financial catergories. and i am proud!

Week 11

I feel comfortable now, after taking a number of courses such as marketing, finance, and entrepreanuership. I feel comfortable with our course project of creating a buisness and planning its future. Using the information from all these courses, i have been able to make, what i believe, to be a solid plan. It has been exciting to be able to implement some of the techniques and models ive learned throughout my diploma in this project.

Week 10

I feel as if my project is working well. Which is much more than what i expected at the beggining of the course. I feel more confident in creating a buisness now than before, mainly because i realize now that you dont need all the answer at the start. That you can focus on each problem as they come. And as you do the whole plan and buisness begins to come together.

Week 9

Lots to learn! the lastest assignment was a major learning experience and was made me experiment with many different tools to get operational. This gave me the experience of creating a marketing scheme that will attract customers and using critical thinking to find new ways to give value to the customers.

Week 8

The project is working well. I am surprised how little it takes to create a business. Often we over complicate things in our head, but with a small budget and some effort its possible to create a small business. 

This project gets us past the most difficult part of doing any task, which is getting started. This project makes it significantly more likely that i will start and create a real business in the future.

Week 7

This class has taught me about many aspects of creating my own buisness form the rules and regulations in Ontario to financing and buisness planning. By going through each steps using a company that i have created it has given me a clearer picture of the nessasary requirements of building a business!

Expanding

Simply green is now looking to expand! With a number of talks underway, Simply Green is working hard to maximise its opportunities. New financing deals are in the works. Simply Green has now applied to Seneca’s Business Incubator HELIX program to find new VC, as well as appying to numerous grants provided by Ontario for new business. Simply Green will not leave any stone unturned in its quest for success!

Business Operations

Operations for SImply Green are underway! Landscaping services will be available on a limited basis in select regions in Toronto. We will be working closely with Tool Library to provide essential landscaping tools to begin operations of SImply Green on our limited budget. Oscar will walk door to door finding clients who have landscaping needs. Simply Green will focus on this process until it has built a foundational income stream.
