Laundry With Morgan

My little sister Morgan will do just about anything to hangout with me doing whatever I'm doing. So i wasn't surprised today when she asked me what i was doing and i said laundry, that she asked to help. She's so cute she's like "i'll pair your socks" or "I'll help! I'll really really help! please!" It cracks me up that she thinks I'll ever turn down two extra folding hands. hahaha. She lined up all my socks on my bed and carefully inspected every one to find its perfect match. Its helpful to have little sisters, you know.

Nights Like These

Having a fun movie night with my sisters seemed like a good reason for my first blog post, i think.

We're sitting in Leighann's room (my oldest sister, she's 21) and watching Guardians of the Galaxy. We just decided on buying the movie from On Demand, since our bootleg version sucked. We're smokin bowl packs, drinking beers, eating popcorn, and chillen :) Leighann's on her bed with that dark green fuzzy throw blanket she takes everywhere, and her adorable little Chrome Book.

Cheryl's (my 2nd oldest sister, she's 20) laying on trundle bed pulled out from Leighann's bed in her imfaous black and white polka-dotted rob. Me and Leighann got her that robe for her birthday :D

I'm laying on my purple bean bag chair with my fuzzy purple pillow and blanket, and my purple robe against Leighanns coffee table. I kinda like purple. And I'm just thinking, "this is so cool." And i'm not talking about the movie (Which was AWESOME); but just the way we hangout. It's just cool. We're like best friends, the three of us.

Not to mention when we get together with our two younger sisters, Bridget and Morgan, we're all a bunch of goons. Bridget's 11, she's sassy and sweet, in her first year of middle school, Morgan's 8 and she's super hyper and hilarious in 3rd grade. So my parents have kids in college, high school, middle school, and elementary school. And if it was up to my mom, I think she would have another. But, that ain't happenin...

My family's really close. It's cool to have such a big family to rely on. My mom and dad are awesome. They're weirdos, but they're hilarious (and sometimes embarassing.) My dad's an enginer, so tonight when a pipe bursted under my bath tub, it was Pops to the rescue! My dad turned off the water in the hous and rippped the oven out of the wall and had to go in there to fix the pipe. So we had no oven. My mom had to cook chicken cutlets by borrowing gallons of water from my neighbor in pitchers. HAHAHAHA. It was seriously white trash; But the Chicken Cutlets were DELISH. Even without running water my mom makes a yummy dinner. She's fabulous.

It's just nights like these that make me realize how lucky i am i guess.
