I'm here to hyperfocus on whatever makes me happy and then move on to the next thing and then cycle back around whenever it pleases me. Sometimes that means I'll be making a ton of sims in CAS, sometimes I'll be learning new CC skills, sometimes I'll focus intensely on one sim. Occasionally I'll do a legacy challenge. Please don't follow me for one specific thing - I think I'll let you down if you do.

► Programs & Resources:

Sims4Studio is the program we use to get our resources from the game and to make our package files. Photoshop is the image editing program we use to edit our image textures and previews, with some recurring to GIMP as well. You will need a DDS Plug-in so Photoshop can work on the DDS files that Sims4Studio utilizes, you can work with png files, but it's harder work. Blender is the free and mot common 3D mesh editor sims 4 creators use to work on their meshes. You can import add-ons to it, like Behemox Hair Generator, Mesh Repair Tools (both self explanatory) and Mio3, an UV editor tool. NJob is a great free tool you can utilize to make normal maps, essential to make your CC interact with different lighting in game.

It's so frustrating trying to learn to do anything for this game because googling just takes you to tutorials that were outdated 7 years ago.

I *know* HQ skins don't work like that anymore, I still want the damn textures to paint on. Unless that's not how you make makeup or tattoos or skin details either anymore???!!! Idfk.

There must be a way two people can play ts4 on a single PC and not have to keep swapping out GraphicsRules when one wants to use HQ and the other doesn't. It's such a fucking headache.

My boyfriend and I both play on the same PC (different accounts though), but he plays with only a few pieces of CC and mods that aren't HQ compatible and I'm over here running all of my stuff through the HQ converter. But whatever I do to my GraphicsRule affects his game and vice versa and it just stops me from wanting to play to have to make sure I swap my file back in before playing.

There's a reason we don't use the HQ switch but I can't remember what it was. Maybe we have to try that again.

hi! i saw karasusims converted your mitosis eyes to sims 2, but only did the white sclera. would it be ok for me to convert the black sclera version?

Absolutely! Here are the .psds. I'm pretty sure it doesn't contain my black sclera, but that's only because there's nothing special about it - it's just a simple black fill layer.

I hate having to do this, but Delta's ear infection has progressed to the point where I can't treat it here at home anymore. Here's what I wrote on the gofundme page:

Hi, my name is Haley. I'm starting this GoFundMe as a last resort of sorts to get the funds I need to treat my cat, Delta's chronic ear infection. This isn't something I'm proud of doing, but with the rising costs of literally everything lately, I simply do not have enough right now to pay for a vet visit. I also cannot turn to family, as they also are barely staying afloat as it is. Let me tell you a bit about Delta. She's ten years old and she and her sister Luna are my everything. I've had them both since they were kittens. Sometime last year, Delta developed her first ear infection. It seemed to come and go until summer, where it got so bad she was crying while scratching at her ears, causing them to bleed day in and day out. I took her to urgent care and they cleaned her up, gave her a shot to help with the itching, and prescribed some antibiotic ear drops for her that worked wonderfully. Today, I'm dealing with the same problem. I've been trying to manage it with what little ear drops I had left, coconut oil to soothe her scabs, and I recently bought an ear flush that the vet had recommended. None of it is enough. She needs to see a vet and be prescribed a full regimen of antibiotics again. Her ears are raw and scratched bald. She cries if I try to stop her from scratching till she bleeds. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to see her in so much pain and not be able to soothe her. So that's why I've started this GoFundMe. I've chosen $450 as the goal to both cover the vet visit (hopefully) and the fees set up by GoFundMe. If there are any funds left, they will go towards either a refill of her prescription or other cat supplies like food and litter. Anything helps and I cannot say thank you enough to anyone generous enough to donate, even if it's only $1. Below are a couple of pictures of Delta's ears. They may be hard to look at, so I apologize, but I feel they need to be seen to show how extensive the damage has gotten.

I will update this page whenever she gets in for treatment, with progress pictures and hopefully news of her doing better and recovering. Thank you again to anyone that's given their time to read this and a special thanks to anyone that donates. I appreciate you all.
