i was rewatching season 13 of SVU i spotted some foreshadowing and Amanda asked Liv how can she trust any man working as a detective day in day out and Liv Says she believes there still good guys out there and in Amanda's first episode she and the suspect were talking about Italian food and Amanda mentions that she can't find a good place that makes Italian food . what happens in season 16 Carisi appears which ends up being a good guy from his relationship and partnership with Rollins starting off as her partner then eventually her husband. who cooks the most amazing Italian food.

Without looking Carisi crosses the road hearing his name being called out to him by Amanda after telling her that he loves her and Jesse and the unborn baby in her tummy. A fast spending car hits Carisi and drives off leaving him unconscious and Amanda runs over and starts doing CPR on Carisi's chest and Liv and Fin start calling for an ambulance and Al walks out and takes over from Amanda doing  CPR on "he has a pulse"

"Dominick Carisi long time I haven't seen you" Mike Dodds says to the Ghost of Dominick Carisi Jr "Dodds what are you doing here"  "Well at the moment you are dead" Carisi looks around and he sees Amanda is crying and Fin Hugging her and Liv is on her phone to 911 operator for an ambulance and Al is doing CPR on him and Carisi walks behind Amanda hearing her sobs "Fin I don't know what to do without him" Olivia walks over to Amanda and Fin "the ambulance will be here in 5 minutes Hey Amanda he will make it i am sure of it" 5 minutes pass and the ambulance arrives and Liv directs them to Carisi's body "Hi Fellas I have been working on him and he has a pluse at the moment" Paramedic Walker "What's his name" Amanda says "Dominick Anthony Carisi Jr my partner" while sobbing Liv pips up " We all work together Carisi is a Detective same with Amanda i am the Lieutenant for special victims and Fin is the Sergeant"  they end up putting Carisi on the stretcher "we are taking him to mercy it is currently touch and go with him" Walker and Green. The ambulance drives off with Carisi. "Amanda you should go home with Al and see Jesse we will keep you updated about Carisi" Amanda bows down and wiping away her tears "okay Liv I will do that for you" Al wraps his arm around Amanda's shoulder and Amanda pulls Al's arm off her "Please Al don't touch me" Al orders an Uber for them and putting his phone in his pocket eventually the uber shows up.
