"The Administration"
It is uncontroversial to link a dopamine dump to addiction. However, in the case of gambling addiction, as I will explain, there are two factors at play in the underlying addictive components. Psychology has long understood the conditioning power of random reinforcement.
It take no argument to illustrate that the gambling activity takes that precise form. Additionally, I argue that, in the case of gambling, there are strong evolutionary powers at play.
When a gambler is loosing big, this triggers a flight or fight response, which produces an adrenaline spike in the gamblers body. If a payout hits amidst this event a dopamine dump occurs.
It is this biochemical event coupled with the random reinforcement form that makes gambling so addictive.
"With all that is known about how trauma effects the human animal, It is unconscionable that anyone would intentionally pursue a course of action that would inflict trauma on another individual, let alone a peoples or country."

"What proponents of unregulated Capitalism fail to highlight in their rhetoric is: In the game Monopoly, everyone starts out with the same amount of money at the same time.
Nobody would want to join in late in the game at go with the starting amount and other people's hotels on all the properties."

The Alien Watcher Thought Experiment:
Imagine that you are an Alien watching two planet earths through vast technology over evolutionary time.
On both planets a life emerges and a dominant life from evolves to possess extra planetary traveling technology.
Now, on one planet this life from developed technology peacefully with cooperation and the utmost respect for the living environment it evolved within.
On the other planet, the lifeform exited tribalism with one tribe dominating and exterminating the others and most of its natural environment to the point that it turned to space to find a replacement world as it’s home world is used up recklessly.
Now, if you were an Alien watching these two emerging onto the scene, which are you less likely to swat out of existence immediately?

In a world that basically comes down to an agreement, it is unconscionable that we aren't all working to make things the best we can.
For all those out there smoking blunts and rellos, there is no reason to make your cannabis addictive. Your brain associates the two when you do that and you end up not enjoying cannabis and addicted to nicotine.
Is anyone else feeling Post Nihilistic?
