i know that Adam’s whole character is basically “strong dumb one” but i love Adam with my whole heart so pls listen to my rant.

Adam isn’t dumb. at all. i don’t know if anyone else has noticed but almost every time Adam says something “dumb” and people correct him, his response is almost always “i know, but…..”

The Solar Flare/Beach episode:

chase: adam, sunglasses aren’t going to protect our eyes from the solar flare

Adam: no, but they will protect our eyes from when pasty-legs Davenport puts on his shorts.

The Haunting of Mission Creek episode:

Leo: Adam, that’s before the accident….

Adam: i know, i just really hate beards..

if he says something incorrect, he’s almost always aware that it was incorrect, he was just making a joke or trying to be funny. or they just misunderstood him.

also in that space colony episode in season 4, Adam says to Tasha

“wait, you guys are married? i just thought you came over a lot”

hahaha silly stupid Adam Adam dumb-

Adam was kidding. he knows they’re married. he literally refers to Tasha as mom in season 2. he knows.

There are also several instances where he does or says something and then realizes HIMSELF right after WHY it was a dumb thing to do (one of them is in Chore Wars).

Also Leo vs Evil when he comes up with the only working solution to the situation (he just... called her).

And in the screaming skull episode, his solution then? (Mimicked the virus's symptoms to get close to bree and chase)

Adam isn't the brightest all the time (he has his moments where he says things that are just a little dumb, but that's okay), but he's nowhere near as stupid as the show wants you think.

A fic/episode of Lab Rats Elite Force, still got shapeshifters, but Marcus is there. And so one of the shapeshifters shapeshifts into Marcus.

The shape shifter didn't know Marcus wasn't human. So there's some short of tell that makes it obvious this Marcus isn't an android. Angst ensues? Action? What have you.
