Ok there's some reading if you haven't seen this yet? Lex was talking about the end of Matchmaker and how either way it ends will be bad for everybody.
It's a contrast to how peaceful the actual morgue stuff is? The stuff he's written and also the AU rp blog (@morguecritter), its all very cute and mostly low-stress, being friends with them, asking them questions, building the story for the AU.
The thing I'm wanting to do right now involves the part of Lex's answer that Skyler highlighted on his own post earlier:

This will be a spoiler if you haven't been following the progress of the AU on morguecritter but Kokichi is *also* struggling with health issues (that he hides/lies about). Lex probably left that off the list up there since it isn't something Kokichi wants everybody to know about (in fact it's morgue canon that Nagito and Kokichi first met in a hospital while they were admitted into one at the same time but Nagito doesn't recognize him because Kokichi drastically changed his appearance in an attempt to distinguish himself from who he was before)... Anyway that could also factor in to Nagito's ending- both have health issues...
Wait they both have luck too XD I'm sorry I'm screwing this up so bad but they *both* have health issues and luck (Cherry's post talking about it, she has quotes from Lex too XD)
Because they both have luck and health issues I guess that makes them pretty evenly matched here?
● Kokichi is the Despair Successor right now but doesn't do anything to cause any drama (except for with Nagito and in morguecritter XD)
● If something happens to Kokichi, Nagito will become the Successor with a different motive since he's back to being determined to give his life purpose now that he lost the one he had
Either ending would signal a bad time for everybody XD So neither ending is a benign/good end.

Because of the recent extractions, there were several vacancies left in one class in particular - you probably know the reason.
Hope's Peak erroneously believed that staging the Ultimate Shuffle would disguise the fact that so many individuals are missing from that class, so the classes themselves have been partially reordered.
How exciting, right? I hope everybody gets along with their new classmates!
Some brand new Ultimates have been scouted and found a new home - and a few of our own Reserve Course students have been elevated out of their previous state of mediocrity!

I believe they're floundering, heh. They're attempting to scrape together any excuse for why these new Ultimate Reserve Course students are actually Ultimates...
But the Ultimate Reserve Course students are, essentially, decided by a raffle. It's similar to the Ultimate Lucky Student selection process, except the names stocked in this particular contest are already enrolled.
This entire thing is such an embarrassment for Hope's Peak... I'm not sure they'll recover from this unfortunate event, in all honesty.

As I mentioned, matching Kuwata-kun is difficult - he's quite an abrasive person, isn't he..?

Desperate to shed that Ultimate Good Boy reputation he'd built for himself, the entire reason Hope's Peak scouted him in the first place, he's really... Making an effort...
Don't you think a great match for him would be somebody who can show him how it's done~?
Someone effortlessly cool, to make him realize how foolishly he's behaving? Heh.
I guess I have to admire this type of manufactured hope he's secured for himself - not the thing he was given as a gift, but one he'd selected on his own... But I still believe having exposure to this specific person might help him realize he doesn't need to try so hard.
Could it be fireworks? Or am I igniting a brick of C4? I almost can't wait to find out!
My match for Leon Kuwata is the newly elevated from the Reserve Course student, the transplant that has been placed into class 79, Rantaro Amami!
Bestowed with the title of Ultimate Survivor in an attempt to disguise how the new transplants are all selected by an intramural Lucky Student drawing, Amami-kun has the type of natural coolness Kuwata-kun would probably give anything to have!
I feel like things will probably be rough at the beginning - Kuwata-kun is rather combative, isn't he? But perhaps Amami-kun can encourage him to stop reacting so explosively.
Maybe if Amami-kun cares about baseball, it could even lead Kuwata-kun to stop being so ashamed of his natural talent?
He doesn't need to completely forsake his new dream of being a musician, but doesn't it seem like such a terrible waste for him to turn his back on the thing that made him remarkable in the first place?
[ mod note: I wrote about my theory about Rantaro being the last remaining survivor of the Reserve Course (who didn't get influenced to commit suicide like everybody else), but since Matchmaker is a completely different branch of events, he'd need to get elevated another way. The Ultimate Shuffle will be that other way XD!! ]
[ bonus mod note: I don't think Rantaro would pick on Leon for how tryhard he is? But I do think Leon would probably feel a little bit embarrassed by just how hard he tries if he spent time with somebody like Rantaro. He would calm his ass down (probably), and it would be good for everybody - especially Leon's blood pressure and his strained vocal cords after all that screaming he does XD!! ]

Kokichi mentioned there was an apartment over the ice cream parlor... He said it was a regular house before and was eventually converted into a shop (only the downstairs area)
So I was wondering if you knew about the apartment? Did you go up there while you visited?
I didn't find a door that lead upstairs, but I also wasn't looking for one... Maybe that was where the office was originally located..?
I assumed the office was in the basement, and had been moved up into the stockroom before the cement was poured in... But I guess it's possible the office was moved down from the apartment..?
I wonder what that means..?
The office items were definitely out of place in the storeroom, crammed into that tiny nook right as you walk in... It made sense to assume those objects had been in the cellar and moved up to prevent them from being encased in cement.
But what if they'd been upstairs, moved down, and..? What happened to the door leading to the apartment..?
I swear, I'd checked every available room on the lower floor. There was a janitorial closet in the dining area, then the door leading to the stockroom behind the counter.
Within the stockroom, there was a door leading down to the cement-filled basement, and one leading to the back garden.
How were you supposed to get upstairs..?

We can't investigate since the building has been demolished, but this is really going to bug me.
None of Ouma-kun's DICE managed to get in and scamper around in that place before the demolition, did you..? It couldn't possibly be that mysterious - it was a normal house once. There had to be a door leading to the upstairs.
Even divorced from the murder, that place is really bothersome, isn't it...
