Taught since Shakespeare was writing plays,
Creating stories from a daze,
Writing poetry formed from summers star gaze,
Choosing the priorities to do and then taking time to delay moments is a haze,
something dreamt up it’s a craze to lay in this unknown maze,
everyone keeps saying these are just the phases,
Even Romeo went through it, hence most
inspired plays created from the artists daze of getting lost in the days spending time understanding the enchantment in a lovers gaze,
a high divine, smoking decades of 80’s records, Prince’s Purple Haze,
It costs to get blazed but it pays for letting time go on delay, a pleasure craved
Here I engage in a reign of ongoing phase,
there’s always an end to a maze,
It just takes those moments to fulfill,
these metaphors don’t have to apply in a literal way, perhaps that’s the hidden message to lay back and be amazed with the phases as they come and go
a haze, it’s not a bad thing it’s sane to craze, there’s no reason to feel lost in an unsolved maze, this has been life since Greek tragedies, so study plays
characters dealt with these kinds of dismays, they were written to untangle all the different ways to go about settling,
Enjoy your days, it might be a phase for sometime stuck in a maze
It’s okay to crave more than this, it’s not bad thing to fall into a phase, it’s a common way to work through the bad days, it costs to be blazed but it pays for a pause; there’s always a way out through life’s maze but not every option is worth the daze, take a minute to sage;
It might feel like a cage, there’s always a moral to unlock,
It’s been known throughout the history of plays, close your eyes, breathe
You’re gonna make it through the days
