so did that ending imply that marinette is picking alya to train as the next guardian?

while on the one hand, this will likely hurt chat noir when he realizes, i wonder if from marinette’s perspective, she’s doing him a kindness. after all, being the guardian has been nothing but stressful for her. and i’m sure she knows that if she offered it to chat, he wouldn’t turn it down, even if he wanted to (and tbh i don’t think he really would want that responsibility, but he’d be hurt because he would interpret it as a lack of trust)

but marinette knows alya wants that stress, she wants to be a hero. more than that, marinette knows alya would turn it down if she didn’t want it. she isn’t worried about putting an unwanted burden on alya’s shoulders.
