At Knightsbridge House International School (KBH), diversity is more than a characteristic of our school community — it is one of our greatest strengths. With more than 42 nationalities represented across the school, KBH is a truly international community where students grow up surrounded by different cultures, traditions, languages and perspectives.
This diversity reflects the increasingly interconnected world our students will enter as they grow. More importantly, it creates meaningful opportunities for children to learn with, from and about one another every day. By experiencing different perspectives from an early age, students develop the curiosity, empathy and respect needed to navigate a diverse world with confidence.
At KBH, diversity is not simply a slogan. It is something we actively live and celebrate throughout the school year. The school recognizes significant cultural and religious celebrations including Diwali, Christmas, Vesak Day, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Haji, alongside community events such as United Nations Day, Children’s Day and Chinese New Year. By helping students understand the stories, traditions and meaning behind these occasions, we make diversity visible, personal and authentic.
Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) also plays an important role in strengthening the school community. By bringing families together and supporting school events and activities, the PTA creates opportunities for parents from different backgrounds to connect, participate and build lasting relationships.
The KBH Values of Responsibility, Respect, Resilience, Tolerance and Collaboration provide a foundation for the culture we seek to build. Students who demonstrate these values are recognized by their peers, reinforcing the importance of character alongside academic achievement.
This commitment is further supported by Cambridge International Education and a holistic wellness curriculum, with two lessons each week focused on helping students build positive relationships, navigate differences and contribute to a caring community.
Our diverse teaching team also models the strength of different backgrounds and perspectives. At KBH, diversity is not something we simply recognize — it is something we live, teach and celebrate. By building a community grounded in respect, understanding and shared values, we help students become compassionate, open-minded and thoughtful contributors to a more connected world.
