What I think is so fun about the Eddsworld community is because its an indie animated show, its fandom is mostly filled with writers, illustrators, and animators, and thats just so fun to see.

There’s so much love, effort, and passion in the abundances of art I come across underneath the Eddsworld tag, from old fans, from new fans, and from everyone in between.

It reminds me of when I was at a dinner party a bit ago and someone asked me if, since I am going to art school, I was worried about AI at all.

Small things like seeing new artists post art they’re not fully confident in, young writers asking for feedback on a fic they just made, and just generally seeing people connect and inspire eachother through one shared interest they all love, make me even more sure of myself when I tell them no.

Artists aren’t going anywhere.
