Hey man, I wanted you to know that your singing is inspiring and reminds me that I've still got a lot to practice in developing my own voice and style. Do you have any particular way that you practice your runs? Would you say that playing the keyboard has given you a better ear for composing original riffs? I still listen to your All That Matters cover just to try and match that sick riff you do right at the end, haha. Thanks again for keeping my heart into the music, hope all is well

My man, thank you first of all for the kind words and for the message.

My singing had helped more with my music arrangement and production than my instrumentation actually because I started out singing before anything else.

I think the thing that has helped the most with my runs and originality is by simply listening and practicing. Listen to artists who sing the style of music you want to sing, and try to mimic their sound and the way they sing it. Listening to Tank really helped my runs because he has some crazy skill in that department, and Luke James, Eric Benet, and Robin Thicke for falsetto.

Originality comes out when you put all these factors together and by listening to more and more artists to pull inspiration from. When I do a take on a song, I try to make it sound more R&B because that’s the style that I love and that suits me.

this is the first time from all my past relationships,

i can’t say he’s “The One” cus it sounds so cliche,

but definitely he’s the “Right One” for me.

we’re almost Too Perfect for each other,
