sometimes i write horribly self indulgent kinnie fics where a character i kin is being cared while regressing for by another character i like. i am just typing this to make sure im not the only one who thinks about this kinda stuff.

So friday night funkin has been a big comfort game of mine lately and my fav character from the game is Pico and after learning about his past (and original game in turn) i thought

"what if he copes with bad things the same way i do?"

and this is what i came up with

Pico as an age regressor:

- Rarely regresses and when he does, it's mostly involuntary.

- He acts like an older kiddo most of the time when he does regress.

- Only when alone or extremely tired will he slip younger than 7.

- Always claims to be a big kid but will still carry his blankie around secretly.

- Shakey hands from little sleep and anxiety make sippy cups good to use, even when not regressed. Would never be caught doing so though.

- Paci's and teethers help him as he has a bad habit of biting the inside of his mouth when nervous.

- If anyone found out about his regression and wanted to care for him, he'd be super bratty 80% of the time. Not because he's a rebel, but because he's not used to structure or eating healthy.

- The other 20%, he's indirectly sweet. Coloring pictures, apologizing if he ends up hitting during a bratty moment, ect.

being a regressor when you're a teenager and living with your parents is really hard because i want sippy cups, baby bottles and pacis but i'd have to hide them from my parents... aa

“what’s little guilt?”, you ask? it’s when an age regressor/dreamer feels bad about regressing!

well, what exactly is guilt? guilt is when we think we’ve broken society’s morals. when we feel guilt, we feel like we’ve done something wrong.

well, let me tell you that you are absolutely not doing anything wrong by regressing!! if regression makes you happy, then you should not worry about what other people think. all that matters is that you’re happy and okay!! remind yourself that your regression is supposed to help you! what matters more? what others think? or your wellbeing?

you and your regression are so valid! don’t let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do! this is YOUR life! not theirs!! <3

• a dragon!! use your imagination! what color is it? does it have wings? how many eyes? is it small or BIG? does it have stripes or spots? it’s up to you!

• your dream nursery! what kind of bed do you have? do you have a toy box? what color are the walls? where will you put your stuffies? what about a crib or high chair?

• yourself! the best part is that you can draw you in any outfit you want!! what are you wearing? some overalls? a onesie? maybe just a big hoodie! maybe draw your stuffie next to you as well!

• a cake! you can make it any flavor you want! and you can have as many layers as you want too!! maybe some yummy frosting! or maybe it’s an ice cream cake!!

• a book cover! this is especially fun if you have your own story! or you can just recreate one that already exists! like little red riding hood! you can draw her however you want! or even the 3 piggies!

• the outdoors! there are so many fun things about this one! you could draw a forest with deers and maybe bears n raccoons! or the ocean with squid n fish! or the mountains with goats n birds!!

• your favorite animal! maybe you could give them some clothes! or some fun hair! give them a name and decorate them how you want!!

• make your own carebear! what color are they? what symbol is on their tummy? do they live in care a lot? what is their personality like?

• design your own paci! you get to choose the color n everything! what does the handle say? what is in the center? decorate with glitter and stickers if you want!
