I just wanna say I really love the way you draw Kolona, they’re just so creature and words can’t express how much I love them. Your design of them is one of my inspirations for my own design. Was there anything that inspired you for your Kolona design?

To be honest, I didn’t have anything specific in mind. All I knew was that I wanted Kolona to resemble their sprite while maintaining some air of whimsy. Then it hit me. What if I made them snake-like? That way they can curl into a circle and count like they do ingame. That was it really

Your Kolona and Operator seem to be really REALLY close buddies with eachother! Almost like siblings!

…Based on how ruined Operator is in his Voidbound Design, i wonder how Kolona feels whenever Operator becomes Voidbound. Do they stress whenever malfunction appears as a choice for the player?

To me Operator and Kolona are like a pair of unlikely friends. Two very different entities that compliment each other in both their work and personalities.

I like to think the first few voidbound incidents were an absolute nightmare. It’d be horrifying to watch someone have their entire frame pulled apart, then sloppily rearranged back together into a form that half resembles what they were, but since the Nullscape hard resets over and over again, eventually it became just another Tuesday.

Somewhat I suppose. I’d say they’re much closer to being water resistant.

They could probably tank a water hose to the screen, but they wouldn’t be very happy about it

I use Krita by default! but sometimes I'll hop on Procreate (pocket) or Clipstudio Paint depending on my mood.

My usual brushes (on Krita) are:

Sketch V2 - My go to set, usually for lighthearted doodles

Charcoal KA. - Coloring/rendering etc,,

Concept & Illustrations V2 - Texturing when I'm lazy

Metallics by Draneria - Texturing but it's metal

80% of my art are on the hellsite so I don't have a lot of examples here,, ough,,
