Acquired Taste||Colette & Lloyd
The warmth of the radiant light that bathed her porcelain skin with the golden rays of the sun. The wind caressing her face with its gentle cool breeze as she road on the strange contraption known as the Rheairds. She could feel things now. The soothing cold air from the altitude and the warm sunlight that had surrounded them. She could only turn her head left and right, as she greeted her friend’s face with a smile of her own. How long has it been since she had last smiled like this? A smile that was actually free from the lingering sadness that lurked within her?
A failure chosen like her didn’t deserve to have these amazing friends…and yet they went out of their way to not only find but to rescue her again. The vessel that was intended to lose her humanity had been able to reclaim the light in her eyes once again. Colette, for the first time in so long can finally say she was feeling alive this very moment. She can feel the temperature again. She can talk, she can laugh, and she was finally heard after so long! But above all, what she felt was…
Growl~
The light sound of her stomach had been heard as Colette immediately placed her hand on her stomach. A bashful smile was formed and the excitement still lingers on. She could feel hunger…! The realization was finally made. It’s been so long since she had felt this hungry before! She was super hungry and she was craving something very delicious.
"Hey Lloyd." She had called out to her childhood friend, hoping her voice would reach him against the wind and their friends chatters. Would it be alright to tell him she was hungry? Maybe he had something to eat like an apple gel or something? Colette didn’t mind traveling by air but would it be okay to ask to take a quick break?
"I’m a little hungry, do you have something like a gel?" Despite the fact that she was actually starving, she had to convince herself it would be okay. Something small like a gel would suffice her just nicely, after all she is still an angel. She should be able to handle not eating, especially after not eating for the longest of time! And yet, the loud rumble of her stomach intruded her thoughts before a light giggle escaped her lips. At the very least, angel or not…she was starting to feel more human.
It was almost cute at how Collete suggests a gel, but Lloyd knows better somewhat. His dorky childhood friend wasn't going to get into the necessities for the journey so easily.
"Colette... you know we can't just eat those. We need them for if we get caught in a tight spot." Lloyd answered with a politely scolding kind of tone. "How about I just make you something? It's my turn to cook anyway." Lloyd suggested with a smile. "Is there anything in particular you're up for? I know you like just about anything but Bell peppers."
