Let her be interviewed by Trent and Mary for an academic accomplishment.
Let her run for class President. Kid Danger unethically endorses her.
Let her be the public face of a student or citizen-led initiative, like Swellview Recycles or something, and of course, she has to do double duty as CM, KD and a villain cause havoc all around.
Let her mess something up, like a minor detail on a mission that gets Henry/Ray in a pickle. They're fine, maybe minor injuries, but it leaves normally unflappable Charlotte very rattled and unsure of her abilities (for an episode - she recovers by the end).
Let her get recruited to intern for something that seems prestigious, but is actually a front for a villain or Evil Science Corp. The gang freaks out when she accepts the offer, but Charlotte double crosses the bad guys because she knew it was sketchy all along.
Let her get so frustrated by everyone piling up on her that she threatens to quit. No one takes her seriously until she doesn't show up the next day. Cue pandemonium.
Let her apologize to Jasper when his frustration bubbles over about being forced to be guinea pig for yet another science experiment - specifically because he trusts her as a friend. Let her have a plot line where she thinks about how she may have taken away her friends' agency in the name of science. Maybe she talks to Schwoz about this or finagles Ray into giving Jasper a raise.
Let her have a sleepover with Piper to show their developing friendship and deeply offend the boys in their own room down the hall.
Let her bond with Ray a little (like a real life "that's why you have a Char" moment)
Let her be out of town for a week for science or math camp, or to visit college campuses.
Let her develop her scientific prowess under Schwoz
Let her have a nice date with Jack Swagger.
Or let her vent to her mother or a friend about how bad the date was crashed.
Forgot about the main character of this show. Give Charlotte and Henry a friendship episode not centered around scary kissing dreams. Maybe they could fight over crime fighters vs. non-crime fighters and make up by the end
A really good red herring could have been helping Henry study for a test that he does well on...but the finale reveals that it was just one out of 100 exams, and the rest were too overwhelming for the rest of the year.
The last line we hear Charlotte say is "I'm fighting crime." Give us a preview of that, remind us of how good her marksmanship is. Let her say she doesn't want to fight crime, but can if necessary.
