forget you to protect you- After Hour of Power, Jasper asks Schwoz to make a device binding Henry and Ray's identities and the location of the Man Cave to him, but he forgets who Henry is. Chensper but mostly Hensper. Also autistic Jasper.

wicked:

don't dream too far- Elphaba and Fiyero both dream about kissing each other, essentially. Pre-relationship Fiyeraba. (Also this fic was inspired by I Dream of Danger)

i promise you're more(than what others think)- Elphaba and Fiyero finally talk. The second parter to the previous fic, it was originally going to be a whole AU but I couldn't think of enough ideas. Fair warning, I think this fic ended up being a tad out of character, I was trying to put some other character's trauma from a different fandom onto Fiyero but I don't think I did it very well. Fiyeraba.

you know how when you're stressed about something, even the smallest thing can make you upset? I'm doing that to Charlotte. canon divergence for I Dream of Danger where she hurts herself during the ring scene when she yanks her hand out of Henry's grip. nothing serious, just the ring snags on her knuckle and it bleeds and every single thing that's been stressing her out crashes down and makes her cry. Ray's joke doesn't help, either. and then she and Henry actually sit down and have a conversation.

slight blimp crash au concept: charlotte screams henry's name just a little earlier, as soon as jasper picks her up rather than when he's running into the elevator, so henry still has time to respond. he's overcome with guilt at hearing charlotte's pain and shouts "i'm sorry" as he hurtles towards certain death. it occurs to him that he has so much to be sorry for in his friendship with charlotte because he has not always been a good friend to her so in a desperate attempt to convey how important she is to him and apologise for not always having made that clear he says "i love you" and it's the last thing charlotte hears before the elevator doors close

It honestly says so much about society that the Wicked character who represents depression and disability from physical trauma is the character people say is “useless” and “ruined”.

No being ableist is not necessary, people will treat him like he is absolutely the worst character on earth. Like you seriously do not have to like him at all but the ableism and the constant comments of “oh he’s ruined now”

They treat fiyero like a broken and useless burden, like why is this such a common and accepted part of the fandom of being ableist to a character rendered disabled from trauma

every time i gripe about the fiyero glimpses in NGD being black and white muddled PG Crumbs i remember the absolutely harrowing expression he made looking up at glinda before being taken away and it actually kinda makes up for it. thank you jonathan bailey for the haunted look in your eyes the entire munchkinland scene

the unwavering way he looks up at glinda because even though she's trying to kneel down to talk to him they've pinned him so heavily he can't even meet her eye level equally (something something she's finally ready to meet him where he's at but now she's too late; something something she can still choose to get down to his level but he can't even straighten his back because half a dozen men are pinning him down). the way the lighting shades the bags under his eyes that none of the glamorous lights of emerald city would let anyone even begin to notice. but him looking handsome doesn't matter anymore because he's going to die. the way you can't see it in the pic but one of the guards shifts his grip and his lip twitches but he still doesn't look away from glinda. any shred of that perfect prince who danced about flunking school in that library is GONE and now there's just a man who knows he's about to be murdered at the hands of the very angry men he's lied to for years (in a matter of seconds if he's lucky; in a matter of hours if he's not) (he is very, very unlucky); the men who he never trusted for a moment but led every day; the men that were practically strangers that he still knew well enough to know that they were going to kill him. and even though he the next last words he says to glinda are an apology his eyes scream "Look at this. Look at what standing there grinning led to. Still worth the luxury? The parades? The adoration? You said you couldn't resist before. what about now." or something. this is literally in Munchkinland btw dorothy skipped down the yellow brick road like five minutes ago

very thankful for nessarose thropp being depicted the way she was in the wicked movies because it really did show how fucking ableist people get the moment they think its okay bc its a Bad Disabled Person.

actually. not just how ableist they can get but how fucking racist too. a young disabled woman of color was selfish and spoiled and people ran to joke about her wheelchair use at the fucking speed of light. i can't even count how many times i saw comments cheekily going "omg STAND UP FOR HER 🙄" (in such a way that it was very fucking obvious why they were specifying "stand up") because she didn't say anything when her sister was humiliated in front of all their peers. mind you most of those same people adore the wealthy white blonde girl who humiliated her in the first place because "she felt awful :((((" after finding out she did something nice for her).

none of this was in response to the reprehensible things she does later on btw. not her becoming a dictator and prohibiting the Munchkins and Animals from traveling. not her trapping and enslaving and almost killing boq. (bc the first movie only covered act one and she didn't do ANY of that yet). nope. none of that. she was selfish and spoiled and kind of a shitty sister while disabled and non-white and a woman and that was enough for people to jump to ableist jokes i'd sooner expect from bullies on a playground than the grown ass people seeing this movie. and make her into an obnoxious meme for singing a name somewhat awkwardly. and! last but not least! proudly exclaim how excited they were for her to get murdered in the next movie 💖holy shit i guess being sanitized into the most marketable milquetoast "global phenomenon" possible didn't stop these movies from bringing out the worst in people

YAYYY these can be interpreted as platonic or romantic bc I like them both ways :)

she was the first person he came out to and she says she knew the whole time

jasper always thought charlotte wasnt big on affection so he never tried being affectionate with her but one day she's having a rough day and he hugs her and she asks him not to let go and he realizes she does like affection so he becomes affectionate to her constantly :) (random hugs,leaning his head on her shoulder,kissing her cheek,holding her hand,letting her sleep on him etc)

he met her before henry did and he approached her because she was new and told henry they are all best friends now

charlotte likes to do his makeup and paint his nails

in dystopia they started feeling more like a duo than a trio with henry and would vent to eachother about him

sometimes charlotte catches jasper staring at her and he says he just forgets how pretty she is :)

she visits him in dystopia whenever she can and he comes to visit her at harvard

she slapped tf out of henry after finding out he left jasper

he loves taking pictures of her and has a bunch in his phone

they secretly sometimes prefer hanging out without henry there

jasper loves playing with her hair like a fidget toy

jasper gave her one of his hoodies before she left for harvard

I've said this before but after the rest of the group is mean to jasper or charlothe they always tell eachother they dont mean it and are just trying to fit in

they have a bunch of inside jokes that henry has no clue about

charlotte thinks jasper is the funniest person she's ever met but only says it to him
