it's something like instinct that his hand should shoot out, latching onto that theatrical blur of a red tailoring as painfully familiar to the tips of his fingers as a bruise's mottled shade — it might've startled even himself . his lone eye flickered over ﹠. settled begrudgingly on that slide of vibrant fine fabric within his bare grip, halting that willowy form with a clack of heels like a child precociously clinging to their auntie ( like before, standing on tip-toes to press his small face to the window and watch while madam red chased his brother, laughing, around the flourishing flower garden ... ) but ciel's head lifts, and his expression's one more irritated , deadened without patience left. " stop there, " his voice came in grumbled grouch, no-nonsense tones clipped around his teeth. he huffed, flapping a hand so as to slap the ridiculous reach of her red red red hair out of his face. ( " we " , huh ...? ) from the edge of his eye he could see that other reaper, the small one with the yellow hair, already preoccupied with touring some other confectionery stand stationed on the edge of the populated street while his colleague tugged away at ciel's grip on her coat's careful hemline — he wrinkled his nose, finally releasing, commenting nothing on causing her to stumbled a bit on the pavement . wordlessly, ciel fished a small notebook from his fluff-lined pocket ﹠. flipped a page with a sigh puffed harsh through his chill bitten nose. that sharp blue eye flickered over the top, eyeing grelle's form for a time, then scribbled something in hardly legible handwriting.
