Only when she was comfortably seated there did he stop and just kept his arms around her stomach, pressing another kiss to her cheek. “ There. Better. ”
Cute. Way too cute. This was so unfair. He was too sweet it made her heart clench. Even though she had feined annoyance earlier as a playful move, she had slipped into a more docile position, leaning into his hug with a sigh. She even nuzzled into his kiss, reciprocating with her own on his lips, a gentle press and soft sigh following. He was very much like the sun, warm and bright - perhaps too bright that one must look away from lest they are blinded. ❝ Much better.
