Oceana is 18+ years old, she has been in town for 3 weeks, is a siren daughter of Aphrodite, and she looks a lot like Adelaide Kane.
"I stretched my hands out to the sky,
We danced with monsters through the night.”

Oceana is by no means innocent in fact she’s quite the opposite. She’s lived her life with her sisters doing what they are meant to do: Hunt. Kill. Feed. She’s always taken what she wanted, whether it be some hidden treasure they found in an abandoned ship or ship wreck, or the life of a man abusing a woman. Oceana isn’t as cruel as her sisters though, and hates that they never seemed to care who they hunted, innocent or not. During the slaughter of the sirens, Oceana stayed close to her sisters to the best of her abilities, though when they were betrayed by the mermaids, she was captured by the Poseidon hunters. She was saved by her remaining sisters, but had been forced watch and mourn for each sister she lost, the pain of it overwhelming to her even though she didn’t shed tears for the hunters. Her experience has left her still shaken to this day, but she never shared her sisters’ thirst for vengeance as deeply, knowing in her heart that these monsters would pay for their crimes by her hand.
Oceana had no problem killing the guilty contributors to their dwindling numbers, hunting the Poseidon children and other demigods who took hand in the slaughter with ease, but when Syrena and the others started to target all the descendants, even the innocent ones, Oceana started to pull away no longer wanting to hunt with them when they went after the Poseidon children. When her sisters fought over the boy in California, she couldn’t believe it. Nerissa had never showed remorse for a person like that and seeing Syrena purposely harm her sister left her shaken up, especially when the outcome resulted in their mother coming and forcing them to leave the waters, the only place Oceana ever knew.
Their mother, Aphrodite, brought them to the strange town of Olympus and provided them with charms that kept their siren powers locked away when they were on land. Oceana was fascinated by it all. All the walking, skipping, running, and speaking tones that were so… boring compared to what she was used to. But the new world truly was awe inspiring, and she found herself incredibly excited to get to discover all the new things she was sheltered from in the water. The overall unwelcoming feel some members of the town had towards her and her sisters has left Oceana a little sad but she doesn’t blame them, considering she knew that her and her sisters were considered monsters, especially compared to the rest of the towns people and the other mythical beings. She tries her hardest not to let it get to her though, simply happy to get to explore the new world.
Oceana is quite a friendly and happy person to be around. She’s always sure to be sweet to the people that talk to her and because of that, the people in town warm up to her more than they do to the rest of her sisters. Since this is the first time she’s been on land for more than a few minutes at a time, she’s found it a bit difficult controlling her motor skills, often stumbling around and tripping over small obstacles or her own feet. She’s very curious about the world and touches everything she gets her hands on, asking questions frequently and always seeming to be in awe when she’s seen around town, especially the mall, getting excited when she learns something new. She doesn’t like seeing people sad, and if they let her, she’ll sit and help them with whatever problem they’re having, even if she’s not experienced with their problems.
Oceana loves spending her time outdoors and loves that even though the town is closed off from the rest of the world, there’s always something new she can discover, whether it be in the Wood Nymph woods, or her in time spent exploring the waters around town.
Unlike the rest of her sisters, Oceana is more hurt by some of the treatment they’ve received in town. She understands why people are afraid, but she does all she can to be as nonthreatening as possible and is happy when she’s able to make friends.
Oceana has seen Caleb around town, but she still thinks he doesn’t remember who she is. Plus, talking to him would mean breaking one of the rules set for her and her sisters, and she doesn’t want to anger Ambrosios if she can help it. Still, she’s happy to see the boy she saved has grown up well and seems happy here.
