I cannot tell everyone how excited I am about me and my girls' future with this company. We've recently received some emails about future plans in the making and WOW!! It makes me soo happy to know that if I can't find a job in my field that I have this company to rely on. I have a steady income that I receive within hours of a sale and it reminds me that I have financial stability. Something that we all like to have. My girls too! Knowing that my team will be sharing this success with me makes my heart soo warm! If any of us decide we want to be stay at home moms we could do so! This company is setting and breaking Global records and it's amazing knowing that we are apart of it!! Today on 104.3 they have been discussing childhood cancer. Cancer has impacted me in more ways than one. I've seen many of my family members fight it and some were taken too early because of it. I've witnessed too many children who have to endure this disease as well. Thats why I give to St. Judes Research Hospital. A few days ago I received this in the mail as a "Thank you" but in all reality, we should be thanking them for providing the best care possible for these children. Even if its only a little, its going to impact someones life I promise! #StJudes #FindACure #Give

Bring on the NEW YEAR!

Well I can't believe that Christmas has already came and went, although I am sure my boyfriend is thrilled (he can be a scrooge)! ;-)  2014 has brought soo many experiences that I would have never expected, both good and bad.  I enjoyed a wonderful first trip to Universal with a group of close friends, I booked a second trip within 6 months of my first back to Universal (because I am a Potterhead of course!), I began my Bachelors Degree at Old Dominion University, and my mom finished completed her last chemo treatment in March.  I don't like to talk about the bad stuff but I am.  Mom was rediagnosed with cancer in September of this year.  But starting on January 22 she will go through a couple of surgeries to remove the cancer and finish up with another final round of chemo!  I mention this because once again, this bad situation has brought my family closer than I could have ever imagined and while I can't say I am thankful for the cancer, I am thankful for the experiences and the closeness it has brought to our family.  I learn each and every day how important my family is.  I hate to think that one day, regardless of Doctors and medicine, that my parents will not always be here.  So we cherish THIS time that we have. 

Okay, I'm starting to cry.  Enough of the sappy wishy washy stuff! ;-)

Anywhoo! I cannot wait to bring in the New Year with my friends and family.  May you all have a safe and blessed New Year!

Thankful

People are thankful for many things for many reasons. These two are at the top of my list. If it weren't for God and both of them, I wouldn't be here. They have been happily married for 27 years. Through good times and bad times, they have both taught me what true love looks like. And it looks like this! I can only hope that one day I have a marriage half of what theirs is. While a relationship like theirs doesn't come around often, it is something beautiful that I have been blessed to witness!

I try to make sure when I'm cleaning the comforters and sheets that I keep wade off the bed. After folding laundry I come back to this and couldn't wake him. Hogwarts is my HOME!

As many of my friends know, my life revolves around my love for Harry Potter.  This summer I set off on my first big girl vacation with my first plane trip at 24 years old (yes, I had never been on a plane and I loved it!).  I went to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and just like I expected, my inner-child took over and that was the end of it.  I waited 3 1/2 hours in line for the Escape from Gringotts ride without complaining (mostly because I was too busy taking pictures of everything).  I loved the Olivanders Shop, The Hogwarts Express, and Hogsmeade was AHHMAZING!!  

4 months from today I will set off on my second adventure to Universal for The Celebration of Harry Potter with the cast and cannot wait to return.  

With all of this being said, I promise not all of my blogs will always be about Harry Potter!
