I suppose an introduction is in order, I am Sir Koal.

I enjoy the art of fencing, the company of furballs with claws particuarly my good Lady Dagger. I also enjoy teasing those to whomst find chastity a challenge. I am not the strongest, nor the wisest and this does not bother me. I simply enjoy what I can do and the good company God does bless me with.

Behind the blog: I'm an aroace guy (he/him/they/them) with chronic pain and the only things that attract me are arms and armor. I've been doing HEMA for around a year now and hope one day to learn how to joust. I vanish often and have little to say when I'm around, sorry.

To entertain you on the field of sport wether you chose to favor me or not I fight for you all the same.

If I should fall would you spare a second to worry or greive? Would you search for me as I would for you, come to my aid no matter the wound?

A question for any who wish to answer, what is your favorite weapon? To train with, to fight with, to look at or watch another weild. In your own hands would you be agressive with it and seize the vor or would you rather fight in the nach and react and wait for the best moment to strike back.

Mine is the flammenschwert (flame-sword), a twohanded sword used by the german lansknechts. I've gotten to train with other twohanded swords but this one I see in my dreams. Its size requires it to be used in near constant motion as it is difficult to stop or start a movement compaired other weapons so it rather forces you to fight in the vor. These swords are reguarly almost as tall or taller than their weilders and this particular sword would stand about 5 inches taller than I am. But look at it!

the intimacy of helping someone into (or out of!) their armor. absolutely unparalleled

they're trusting you to see them at their most naked and vulnerable, but more importantly, they're trusting you to help them gear up into the suit that may well save their life. they know that you'll handle their armor with care. that you'll tighten each strap, allowing for freedom of movement, for comfort and safety
