genuinely in awe of how horrible the yakuza 3 remake is, like seriously how in the WORLD did they fuck it up that badly. i dont think ive seen anything like it

its really, just, it has it all, every hallmark of a bad remake you could think of. huge swaths of gutted story content for no reason, graphics that make it look like a ps3 game somehow more than the ACTUAL yakuza 3 that was on ps3, the gameplays worse, they replaced the soundtrack, retconned shit that no one asked for including the fuckin ending of the game, hired a sex offender when recasting some of the characters & kept him on even after tons of backlash, it has an ungodly amount of bugs very much unlike the other yakuza games, even kiryus character sounds like he was rewritten to be a worse guy, all from this game in a series that has historically been beloved and treated well throughout all the time its been going on for. i just, dont even know how something like this happens, was this an inside job

how long until zeldalike indie games start popping up & oversaturating the market? and im not talking about retro top-down ones i mean the style they went with for the mainline 3d games from ocarina of time to skyward sword

i feel like sooner or later people are gonna grow tired of the open world zelda era and start yearning for the classic 3d zelda feel again. maybe people already are after totk even

its the creators fault actually because they wrote some of the most one of a kind characters ive ever seen in any show, its not even just the characters on their own its the way they bounce off of each other too, ive never seen anything like it. there is no other character like ryo out there in any other piece of media

why are all the best bocchi fan projects the fuckin weird ones? what is it about the especially outlandish concepts that brings out gold whenever these creators press their pen to paper (girl who just finished heaven for death)

heaven for death, bocchi the scion, flying beyond shattered seas, azure ripples, everything "normal" ive seen (which im classifying as "how distant does it feel from btr as we experience it through its official media") just doesnt hit the same as these ones do for some reason. absolutely fascinating
