Happy Birthday, Artifiziell!
I wanted to have a word about this for a while, but I think enough time has passed, and while many have noticed, others just have no idea.
So, yesterday, June 30, was @artifiziell’s birthday, the same was Tsukino Usagi from Sailor Moon, as she always remarked haha. So first off I wanna say a big happy birthday, like I acustomed to do for a while.
Artifiziell… has been missing for a while. It is well known among her followers that she had some health issues that were quite bothering, and that explains how she slowly started to post less and less. The last time she posted something was on August 7, which will become a year-long pause in a a bit more than month. We were close friends, and the last message I received from her was from September 2, 2021, and since then I’ve got no response. I know some other people who spoke with her, like @pocket-gems, and we’ve all been wondering what happened. We know her health issues were just getting worse, and so, while we don’t want to make any assumptions, the water is getting clearer, and the river is flowing strongly to one direction.
I have tried to contact her through other media, like Pinterest and even via Mail, but still no response. I sent this mail to her on May, which I’m willing to share:
“I think I’m speaking in the name of all your fans & friends when I say we’re really worried about your situation. We’re not sure how are you, and while the doubt invades us, we’re all constantly sending good vibes in hope that you’re recovering well, and trying to not think of the worst possibilities.I know I’ve been quite insistent, sending you messages via Tumblr and Pinterest, and some other platforms I think.
Please know that my intention is never to pressure you to get back into the art world, but just to know that you’re doing well, thinking that maybe if you cannot answer personally, maybe your significant other could do it in your name.
Whatever is happening, I send you & your SO the strength to keep fighting.“
This whole situation is quite heartbreaking for me. She was a really close friend of mine and while this kind of stuff happens often in the internet, there are people one can never forget.
Kelly, wherever you are, in our world or beyond, please know that you marked us all. You will never be forgotten. Best wishes and the biggest of hugs.
