Wow there are parts from my past where I don’t even recognize who I was. And that’s a good thing! I love my life and who I am right now.

Trends change. But the values and beliefs you build over time? Those don’t shift so easily.

That’s why it matters to really know yourself and stay grounded so you’re not constantly swayed by what everyone else is doing. Don’t waver. Grateful for the high school version of me. She stuck to what felt right, even when going along would’ve been easier. I admire you even more now. You were strong then, and that strength still carries.
