Also instead of “problem behaviour” call it “distressed behaviour” for a more accurate picture of what the person is actually facing
I can’t reblog this enough, I will do it every damn time I see it from now to death.
When someone frames your mental health issues as attention seeking behavior, problem behavior, or any other negatively-coded context, it creates an environment that makes you feel guilty, wrong, and selfish for struggling with things outside of your control. As a result, serious issues are allowed to arise in the absence of support.
“If a person can’t get out of bed, something is making them exhausted. If a student isn’t writing papers, there’s some aspect of the assignment that they can’t do without help. If an employee misses deadlines constantly, something is making organization and deadline-meeting difficult. Even if a person is actively choosing to self-sabotage, there’s a reason for it — some fear they’re working through, some need not being met, a lack of self-esteem being expressed. People do not choose to fail or disappoint. No one wants to feel incapable, apathetic, or ineffective. If you look at a person’s action (or inaction) and see only laziness, you are missing key details. There is always an explanation. There are always barriers. Just because you can’t see them, or don’t view them as legitimate, doesn’t mean they’re not there. Look harder. Maybe you weren’t always able to look at human behavior this way. That’s okay. Now you are. Give it a try.”

BACK AGAIN!
Hey there, studyblrs!
It’s been long. Very long. Like, almost a whole year. A lot has happened in the past few months, that’s why I stopped using tumblr completely. But now, I’m motivated to do all the things that I’ve been wanting to do for so long. I have also started to work on my bullet journal again and I can’t wait to share that journey with you all again - for real this time.
Even though it’s only April now, I’ve already prepared the weekly spreads up to the month of October, and as you can see, I’ve finally found the perfect layout for my weekly spreads. Not too much, not too empty-looking. I’m still figuring out what I could put in those empty patches, so we’ll see how that goes.
Can’t wait to get around again, be inspired and have new friends! Wish you all happy remaining spring break and keep up with the positive vibe!

Hey everyone! I finally finished the spread for next week and I really like it with its dash of neons and pinks, although tbh I didn't even like the header at the beginning. Moral: you should keep going! And it's also my little munchkin's birthday next week...can't believe how fast my brothers are growing up.

BUJO 2017
Hey studyblrs!
I’m finally back, yay. With a new year around the corner, I thought of sharing a glimpse of my spread for January - well, at least the monthly overview and the weekly pages for two weeks. As you can see, I’ve changed the layouts since I don’t have a lot going on during the week. And honestly, I like this layout way more than my initial ones. By the way, I’m really into floral patterns and shading nowadays, but I think you have already guessed that, haha.
I also want to apologise for being inactive for such a long time, but November and December were just not my “thing”. But I’m finally back on track and hope to keep doing better with each passing day. And of course I’ll also keep trying to update my studyblr on a weekly basis so that people won’t forget me.

My very first studyblr post, yay! Here’s a look into my bullet journal and how I’ve set it up for March (don’t worry, that ‘März’ is just the German word for March, haha). Although I am not good at it yet, I’m actually quite satisfied with my bujo so far - especially the page with my youtube ideas (coming soon!). Can’t wait to make the most out of my bujo.

I actually, really like the system of bullet journaling (well, if I’m doing it the way it’s supposed to be considered right) and I love how I can personalise everything according to my taste, mood, etc.
And another thing: sorry for being so inactive guys! After my post in August I barely used my bullet journal for anything since I was away for my holidays and uni just started in October. But I promise to keep postig (I will try!) more regurarly to really keep myself going also, since I procrastinate a lot.
