I'm so angry sis, you don't even understand. SEASON 4 CHRIS SCHISTAD WOULD NEVER BE LIKE THAT. Julie fucked over her own character. Wow. Didn't expect that at all. LIKE SHE DID WITH EVA MAYBE?? What the true ending was: Chris goes to get more food and meets Jonas who tells him to treat Eva right. Jonas and Eva talk and joke about how naive they were just a year ago. End of story. We get mohnstad and JULIE ANDEM is not the shit writer she actually is. I'm gonna riot now, bye

That’s the perfect ending honestly way better than “let’s ignore the people Chris and Eva became and pretend they’re back into who they were in season 1: the fuckboy and the girl being treated like shit by her boyfriend” I’ll never stop being bitter about this it’s like the last clip was written before of the rest of the fucking season it was so random
i don’t get it. we were fine okay? we were fine and we were happy with just whatever background scene we got and our headcanons. then they pull chris back, they give him a clip, they give him feelings for eva and it was all for nothing? what was the point? to prove that a fuck boy will always be a fuck boy? then why the hell give him more depth than needed? was it for drama for the last season? was it to use him as jonas and eva’s closure? that’s bullshit and no thanks. we were fine and this is unbelievably unfair.
I honestly didn’t care if Chriseva were endgame but putting her back with Jonas and him with some random chick he’s never met was fucking stupid. It played out like a bad fan fiction.

so both Eva and P Chris got their character development throw out of the window for a random couple to rise and Eva get back together with a boy who put her through a bunch of shit???
I disagree. PChris never really had much character development in the sense that him and Eva could end up together. He only chased Eva because she never really wanted him. It was highlighting that it was just infatuation and Eva even recognized it (as she calls him a fuck boy in their clip together). Even Willhelm calls PChris out on it and he’s his best friend and obviously knows him well. Eva not committing to PChris comes from the sheer fact that she didn’t really see herself with him and even if she did, once she finally said she wanted to be with him, the chase would be gone, and realistically, PChris would get bored and leave eventually because now she was just like the other girls. Eva ending up with PChris would basically be Eva taking a step back in her character development because she finally recognizes what she deserves and she knew that PChris’ intentions would not always be that realistic fairytale “love” presented in their clip together.
Now in regards to Jonas: Eva has always loved Jonas and it was obvious that they would be end game. Neither of them are perfect and yet they are finally at the place where they can accept that and keep growing together (especially now that Eva has finally found her own opinion and self). Eva broke things off with Jonas in season one because she needed to find herself, not because she didn’t love him. They BOTH put each other through a bunch of shit over the years (cheating, lying, jealousy, etc), but they have also both grown a lot throughout the 4 seasons of the show. Who knows if they will be together forever or not? I think it’s worth it for them to give it a shot, seeing as they are both in different places than they were in season one and they both obviously still feel that love for each other.
yeah…no. Chris went through a HUGE character development which was only broken in the last 15 seconds of that last clip. Just as you are assuming things about Jonas x Eva, it was safe to assume that his feelings were genuine from the clip and the text. Eva and Chis were only a even BIGGER character development for her but she was in control, she was the one saying what she wanted or did not want and she was being her confident self while calling him out, something she was never when she was with Jonas. Besides, one thing that people who are happy about Jonas and Eva can’t understand is that he was AWFUL to her. I see so many people putting them both on the same level but he treated like shit, always making fun of her grades and friends which she never did. We saw NO character development from Jonas on that aspect so it’s safe to say he wasn’t changed. As far as we know, he’s still the same idiot who mocked Eva and took her confidence away. Regardless of their “love” for each other (which was dead for ages before Julie suddenly brought it back in those same stupid 15 seconds) a girl should never go back to the boy who her feel like she had no identity of her own and made her feel worthless, when Eva broke free from Jonas’ toxic strings, she should have never went back.

Season One Eva’s season taught us about individual identity. It taught us that it is important to love ourselves first and to surround ourselves with people who remind us of who we are.
