Recently I finished a beautiful, and also the most difficult project in my life. I was designing a figurative composition for a memorial stone of the little boy, whose life was taken by brain cancer.
As an illustrator I always thought we have the best jobs in the world, telling stories through visuals, adding an extra layer of meaning, we make people smile or think but what’s more important feel.
My hope is that as artists we never lose a sight of responsibility we are given. Our obligation is to be truthful with every brushstroke we make, because our role is not just to entertain, but also to relief the soul, and inspire the best humane qualities through the sense of beauty.
