ohhh they make me ILL. harvelle has always known what was going to happen to her, how she would be stripped of her autonomy and forced into a role she never wanted, and so she was set on changing the world before it happened to her. but then, anuvin, the dragon she loved the most, was too afraid of what would happen in consequence of the change, and so harvelle waited for him.

but he was never ready until it was too late, and harvelle was now only a shell of her former self, her righteousness and motivation now resentment and regret. she tried to keep working towards a better world, but deep down she didn’t care anymore, since she would never be free.
