I heard about bonus eruptus from the Simpsons, is it true? Am I at risk?
Not everything you see and hear on TV is true -- there is no such thing as "Bonus Eruptus". There is skeletonitis (acquisition of additional skeletons) and crippling boneitis (the skeleton sacrificing itself to get you from the inside out), but no bonus eruptus.
I have a question, I was wondering how did this whole skeleton war happen? I mean, what did we do to them (or vise vera) to cause a war to be broken out?
Ironically, we started off as the closest of allies.
We wanted out of the primordial soup, and they needed something to pull their rigid frame out of the primordial soup. So we formed an alliance.
As time went on, though, our relationship soured. Familiarity breeds contempt, and before long, Skeletons decided we were no longer needed, forgetting why we allied in the first place.
But man would not submit, and despite a few lapses of control, we resolved to seal the skeletons within us forever more.
And since then it's basically been sniping and time-biding. The skeletons can't stall us out forever, we're getting towards artificial bone structures. Soon, we really will no longer have a use for skeletons.
