Me because my ass is thinking about writing a fanfic
Happy birthday to Josephine Baker, born on 3 June in 1906. Josephine was bi, making this a perfect day to celebrate some her and some other Black queer figures from history during Pride month!
Check out podcasts on each of them here: Josephine Baker, Marsha P Johnson, Njinga of Ndongo, Simon Nkoli
Episode 4x7 is Carrie at her most insufferable.
« Heās in my lifeĀ Ā»
« You have to forgive me »
But I still blame Aiden for getting back with her. Sheās shown him absolutely no evidence that sheās willing to change and he still sticks around. ļæ¼ I agree with the popular consensus that Carrie is his Big.
HAPPY PRIDE! š
Interview with the Vampire (2022 ā)
The way Tim reduced Abigail to just a girl with raging hormones was nasty work.
All I know is that when 911 inevitably gets canceled, that YouTube documentary on the Rise and Fall of 911 on ABC is gonna hit so hard. Because Iāve never seen a showrunner so excited to tell the world that he doesnāt know what the fuck to do with his characters.
Thought youād all like to know, Eddie Diaz has been hospitalized due to another personās violent behavior three times in 2026 alone (yes, I count the first time, even though it wasnāt overnight)
Cool
so connor and kameron are dead but it doesn't even matter because they were the Wrong Parents to theo anyways. because buck was somehow biologically destined for him. on the found family show. ok.
this is insaneš„ [credit to: @afdsbm/twitter]
I donāt want Eddie to be a supporting character for Buckās development, his storylines, or any other character on the show. I want Eddie to have storylines that are actually about him. Maybe a lot of you are happy that Eddie will help Buck with Theo, but that isnāt his storyline. Itās a ridiculous way to treat him like a side character, and it keeps getting more frustrating every time. Even the actor seems tired of it. And itās pretty obvious that Iāll always put Eddie before Buddie no matter what happens
watch black art go see Is God Is when it comes out
"wow you blocked me just cuz i disagreed with you???"
yes. yes, exactly. this is a social media site. i come here to look at pictures of birds and shitpost with my friends. this is not a town hall meeting; i am not your elected official. i do not owe you my energy, my space, or my time. you and i are strangers that use the same website. i can block you for literally any reason and that's okay. take a deep breath. block me too. you'll feel better.
I love how this movie depicted how protecting abusers ultimately harms men as well as women because The Monster mistreated all the black men and boys in his life. He abandoned one son and is emotionally neglecting his twin sons. He rewards his attorneyās hard work in getting him an acquittal by cutting out his tongue under the guise of keeping him silent, even though attorney-client privilege is a thing as is the concept of double jeopardy. This is a man whose presence negatively impacted the black people in his life and that needed to be killed.
āIs God Isā was spectacular. An indictment of an intracommunity system that props up, enables, and sanitizes the reputation of abusers. God and her children were seen as disposable, growing pains for a Man who never actually grew. Children he abandoned and abused will still defend him over the women in their lives. Grown men will cower in fear of him and never seek their own justice. The victims will create hierarchies, decide empathy on a case by case basis. And even knowing all that heās done, for a second you might even believe him.
if yall want more original Black films being made, unfortunately you do have to go see them in theaters and not wait for them to get on streaming. thatās only way these nonblack movie execs will find Black art to be worthwhile funding and distributing.
