Skids’s backstory - chapter 1

Nolybab.

From what I remember, bit of a shithole. It’s filled with mostly Glukkons, and a lot of businesses. Businesses doing well, businesses doing shit. There were a small lab - I think it was for reject Vykkers not good enough for Vykkers Labs.

Ran by a Vykker called Professor Hattie. They did experiments for smaller companies that couldn’t afford to get their products tested at Vykkers Labs. So Professor Hattie’s Lab it was. She began working on something bigger. Developing a fertility drug - which if it were alright, could boost labour numbers. Mudokons that were meant to be making babies or whatever could do that and there’d be more to do work or some shit. I don’t really know how the system works much.

She were lucky two Mudokons were easy to get for the first trial. I don’t know anything about them.

It worked, but the eggs were taken away from the mother and whoever else, and there weren’t many. Apparently the mother is meant to make more than six eggs, but six eggs was what they got. The eggs were kept in a warm thing, I think it’s called an incubator. One egg hatched early. The mudling were small, bit too small. Bit peaky looking, and had a funny mouth. But he survived.

Later, the rest of the eggs hatched the expected time. Well, except one. But they kept it around because they reckoned it would hatch soon. The other mudlings were peaky as well, but a bit bigger and healthier looking than the early one. Only one was a girl, and she was the tallest one.

Time went by and the last egg still didn’t hatch. They figured it were a dud, and Professor Hattie ordered it to be chucked away, as it were no good. So they thought.

The egg was chucked in a bin, soon to be collected and taken fuck knows where, fuck knows what would happen to it. But it started to hatch. Out came me.

I was very late. But they said I was as healthy as the others, except the first one. That one was small and weak. The rest of us, not too bad. None of us could have known our purpose.

metal is the best music and the one that rly speeks 2 the soul. i dont no if souls r real but metal makes me thnk maybee ther is.

sligknot is my favourit. band made up of sligs. sligs are vry good at letting it all owt. they will screem about wot evr they want.

i also liek meep of odd, blak scrabbath, meat grinder, gizzard (rly good metal band but with cuntry mixed in, it sounds weird but maybe the west got somethin good ther), children of oddum, and ther are more.

i quite like punk as well. the scabs is one of my favrits. they sing abowt everything that is rong with oddworld. they no wot peeple like me go thru. an wots fukked up.

KIRAH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT TO ME. she does sum metal but she also does pop and other stuff. i h8 pop but she can do wot she wants. i am sure she is speeking 2 me in her lirrics. we hav a connektion, a vry special 1. she hasnt met me or sed anything 2 me, but i no she noes who i am. ther is sum destinny shit ther. her eyes deserv better than to be pointed at me, i am vry ugly and scarrd. but she is kind. i havnt met her but i no her bettr than any1 else. she is the most prittiest creecher on oddworld. if u dnt agree u shud die.

Proud to announce: “Brew’d Awakening"

An Oddworld RP "Event" of sorts kicking off November 12th, 2025!

Somewhere beneath the long-abandoned halls of RuptureFarms, a new kind of weirdness is brewing.

Every Oddworld resident, Mudokon, Glukkon, Slig, Vykker, Clakker, Steef, Grubb, Gabbit, and Intern, (or whatever the hell you are) has received the same strange, anonymous, and suspiciously formal invitation:

No one knows who sent it! No one knows why! But you can tell the smell of poor decisions fills the air, and that’s reason enough to show up!

The Rules (or lack thereof):

Forget canon. Forget timelines. Forget where and when your character should be or where you last left off. During Brew’d Awakening, all that continuity junk? Gone. Poof. Yeeted into Necrum. This is literally just for fun.

Whats going to happen at this event, you may ask? Anything you want! We're going to have all our OCs meet up in the same place and interact! Send each other asks! Post open threads!!! Reply to asks and threads!! Keep it chill and casual!! We are so back, baby!!!!
