This is gonna sound weird coming from a recovery blog but in case there still are peeps out there tryna lose weight by smoking, let me just anorexplain something at u:
The thing that decreases your appetite about smoking is the mouth activity. Your mouth is getting something to do, which in turn makes your body think we're eating, which moves your hunger a bit further. Nicotine itself is a bitch ass drug and caffeine does everything nicotine does but better.
So instead of smoking, keep drinking your diet soda and chewing on gum. No need to put yourself at yet another health risk.
Obviously I'm also gonna say u should start orienting yourself towards recovery, but I mainly just wanted to say that smoking isn't anything magical. It's just a distraction for your mouth and u can do literally anything else to get the same effect. I feel a little dirty for writing this and I gotta go look at my dog to feel better but there it is.
same thing goes for vaping, I initially started it to curb my appetite and here I am over 2 years later wishing I had never started. I feel so gross and have wasted so much money on nicotine, it’s just as addictive as heroin which makes it a bitch to stop. pls don’t start :/
