~ 08/14/18 • a dream come true ~ 27 was wunna the most transformative years i've endured so far; nvr expected to live through high school, let alone make it to our 10yr reunion, and yet, here i am. during the 1st half of my past year i was lucky 2 c many new places and lotsa cool stuff along the way, while the 2nd half was all abt letting go of habits and ppl that, while comforting, were ultimately stifling. i am 4evr overwhelmingly gr8ful for the abundance of loving, supportive friends & fam, old & new, that continue 2 lift me up even when i'm at my lowest; yall the real mvps and i absolutely wouldn't be here without you. your presence in my life is my main indication that i'm on the right track, and i love you all more than i could ever accurately convey. still got a ways 2 go b4 i'm firing at optimal jenny levels, but i'm truly proud of all the progress i've made so far, and of the person i'm becoming; 28, can't w8 2 c wutchu got in store 4 me. here's to many more turns around the sun for all of us, until it devours our ravaged planet with its firey fury. happy birthday, everyone!!!!!!

Plz let it be known; I firmly support such gun control measures (like waiting periods, age/safety/training requirements, and limiting the type/amount of firearms an individual can own) that would reduce the sociopolitical power of weapons manufacturers and gun fundamentalists (or #gundamentalists, as the term should be). The NRA is a domestic terrorist organization with no concern for individual rights or wellbeing, that preys on and encourages the militarization of misplaced fear, for economic and political gain. But it's also just one of ~many~ symptoms of America's gun violence epidemic, the root cause of which is as intrinsic to the nation's past and present history as the 2nd Amendment—the imperialism, racism, oppression, inequality, and alienation fueled and perpetuated by its capitalist pursuits. Total gun reform also depends on disarming and ultimately abolishing the police, ending mass incarceration, and drastically reducing military spending and overseas occupation, in favor of increasing public health, housing, and education/arts programs. ~ ~ ~

All that being said, gunz r fun as fuq, and I'm a damn good shot; so long as firearms remain a prevalent part of American society (especially under this present fascist regime), I think it behooves everyone to know how to use 'em. And if like me, you're pro-gun ~&~ anti-capitalism, and/or simply interested in learning more abt gun training, but wary of being subjected to the right wing, white male, cis-het shitshow that predominates US gun culture, I recommend scoping out some Socialist lit on gun rights/reform, and considering joining the Socialist Rifle Association. #GunsRFun4Everyone #BustACapInCapitalism #BringBackTheGunEmoji #EmojisDontKillPeopleTheSocialAilmentsOfCapitalismDo 🔫🌹🐻💪
