My entry for @jakeneutron’s Jax Toy XP Pen contest!! I had so much fun with it !! It’ll be left unfinished since the deadline has passed, but I found a surprising amount of motivation to animate something! Thank you for this chance :)

Updated my lineup of cats as humans as we’ve adopted a new kitty named Romeo! Named as such because he’s very affectionate and social; he’s won the affection of just about every animal in the house… except Eda, though on occasion she is able to vibe in the same space as him, which is still impressive!

This is Amber and Seren! It’s a timeskip spinoff thing, and they are in their teens. They are fraternal twins, Amber (left) being Sun’s daughter, and Seren (right) being Moon’s. Amber is a hammer main, a pastry vendor, and the strong-willed extrovert of the two; Seren is a tonfa main, a Guildmaiden, and bookish introvert.

I feel like this was long overdue because ,, little did I know at the time, but Miku was one of my major inspirations for getting into drawing seriously (specifically learning manga styles)! I went to Japan a few months ago and it was FANTASTIC, would recommend!! I got this Miku CD from the Tower Records in Shibuya. honestly my whole experience there was what inspired me to find my style for Miku after all those years ;; maybe one day I’ll buy myself a Miku poster for my room 🤔

anyways the order of my doodles in the post start with the latest and then to the first :] yes I know Miku has those lil hair accessories but i didn’t know how to draw them ;; womp womp . in the end I went for a more nostalgic vibe !! kinda tried to draw her eyes the way I drew random eyes in the margins of my notebook when I was still first learning .. except this time i have lil more experience :) god, i know im a 2000’s kid but I really just wanna throw Miku into the 80’s .. mEOWWW

Probably the coolest thing I've ever drawn.

My bro is obsessed with monster hunter (he's like HR 160+) so he was actually excited for my art for once and has supplied me with much info dumpling and many references that he captured himself in the newest MH Game. He even let me custom the armour to suit Moons style (As much as the game allows obz)

So thanks this was extremely fun to draw ^-^

And yeah... he had to fight two Lagiacrus cuz the first landed with it's head hidden XD Not that he minded, my bro was more then happy to have someone watch him play.
