I'm back! The webcomic should be returning to it's usual schedule (uploads every Monday!), but being in a new job and in a new country, it might be every other week until things settle down. Also might be some wacky upload times as I get used to JST.

Trying to get used to a new setup, new keyboard, new desk, new time zone, everything, so I thought I'd bust out a drawing of Ganymede to practice. After 30 chapters of a redemption arc (for Hades), he's become my wretched little baby.

It all feels very clumsy right now, but moving to a new country will do that :0 eventually I'll be able to hit that Disney style, but first I have to wear in my new computer like it's a new pair of shoes.

I wrote an entire 80,000 word, Hades redemption fanfic based on this premise, because the guy just needed one other mythological figure who hated Zeus as much as he does (Ganymede, Ganymede is that mythological figure).

So a couple of years ago I wrote a fanfic for Disney's Hercules that redeemed Hades (and Pain and Panic) and I figured I might as well post about it on my new tumblr just so it's out there! It's the sequel I would want to see, even if it is 30 chapters long, because I *love* Hades and I definitely do not love Zeus. I think this might be the root cause of my weird fear of John Goodman. [here it is!]

Hades is scrambling for a new plan after pulling himself out of the Styx. Penned in on on all sides by the consequences of his actions, the first stroke of good luck he's ever had suddenly appears in the Underworld - a dead shepherd boy with a grudge against Zeus. He's as bitter, vindictive and pessimistic as he is, though doesn't have such a great sense of humour, and makes a remarkably capable minion. Then a new star appears in the sky and the Fates declare an end to the age of the gods. It turns out that redemption, not revenge, is their only hope. CW; Not for fans of Zeus, really. Nothing is said out loud, but there heavy implications about the original Ganymede myth, so best go in forewarned. Also, I've tried to stay away from the animated series bc I wanted to keep the movie lore under control, idk. It's all James Woods but it's not all the movie scriptwriters, you know?

I’m still working on putting together a breakdown but the fact that I learnt so much by making this is making it hard every time I implemented something I learnt a better way of doing it which is probably why it took 5 months to build lmao. Even now the urge to rebuild everything from the ground up is strong, and I’m ngl that urge will probably win. Mainly on a texturing and optimisation level though it’ll still have the same structure.

Anyways I’ve started blocking out the exterior and the sheer size of this thing is insane. (65 THOUSAND SEATS NORA??? THATS TO MANY SEATS!!! Damn near set my desk on fire rendering these the fan was running so hot) I will be trying to post more WIPs though, and maybe a fly through animation of the place but it may kill my mac so no promises.
