Shuichi finished writing his letter, placing it on the desk beside him. ‘Nobody will find me anyways...maybe Sai, if he’s unlucky’, he thought, giving a small laugh to himself. He closed his eyes and got off the bed, wiping the tears and smeared eyeliner from under his golden eyes. He sighed a bit as he pulled a chair over into the middle of the room, stopping for a moment only to stare up at the ceiling fan. ‘Is this...really what it’s come to?’. He shook his head and took off his harness and boots, laying them neatly in his suitcase before putting on his favorite hoodie and a comfy pair of jeans. He ran a hand through his hair, tears starting again. He quickly shook them off, however, reminding himself of why he was doing this. No more life, no more pain after all. Shu delicately picked up the thick cord, sitting in the aforementioned chair and crossing one leg over the other, calmly tying it in the noose shape. Another sigh and shake of his head, standing up on the chair and tying the other end to the shaft of the fan. He got down and set his mouse, Kiel, on the same desk as the letter. He gave her a small kiss on the head, unable to stop his tears.
“Be a good girl for me...ok, Kiel? I love you...”
With that, he set out plenty of food and water for her, who knew how long he’d be in that hotel room? He stood on his chair again, very softly taking the circled end of the cord and slipping it over his head. Kiel let out a distressed squeal, almost as if she knew. Shuichi smiled a bit and blew a kiss to her, waving goodbye to his little mouse as he kicked the chair out.
