Hi! I’m really sorry if this is potentially a strange or intrusive question but I’m an aspiring writer myself and I want to tackle tough topics like SA/rape because i believe it’s a very important topic to discuss. I’ve never gone through anything like that and I want to portray/write the topic respectfully. I though you would be a good person to ask as Lupus Automata portrays these subjects really well, it’s respectful and portrays rape as the horrible thing it is without sugarcoating it while also not glamorizing it or just adding it for simple shock value. So I’m hoping you have some tips or advice :), sorry once again if this is a strange question. Thank you!

the best advice I can give is if you havent had the experience yourself is to listen to stories told by survivors or look at art done by survivors. dont pull any punches but dont make it a whumpfest either- its all about balance. we're people who deserve to be treated with respect, but sugarcoating things can have the opposite effect. balance!

I dont feel like i can say this anywhere else im scared, really scared of how i feel alot of the time.
