Yeah so…been seeing a lot of the rp blogs and “Pharloomblr” (I think I’m spelling that right) and I kinda wanna join in too. But of course I don’t have a full idea of what I’m doing, if there’s anything insight others could give that would be appreciated.

Rules/Info, (subject to change maybe) PLEASE READ BEFORE INTERACTING:

- No NSFW stuff, I don’t want any of that here

- The Tyrant’s name is Marr (pronounced like “mar” in marsh)

- I’m not sure how spoilers are gonna go but expect at least act 1 spoilers given this boss, will tag accordingly if needed

- This is specifically the first Skull Tyrant (the second one is dead, by who or what is currently unknown)

- Seeing as things have gone differently from the actual game, Pilby is still very much alive (please no more asks about that- /lh)

- The Tyrant can of course speak, even if that makes no sense with the game lore.

- In the base game it has no real personality but here the Tyrant will be a bit overconfident and quick to anger most of the time. But they’ll also show other emotions and feelings and change over time

*Marr turns around suddenly*

That…That voice…it’s you……maybe…

*Marr taps the wall, deeming it brittle enough, before slamming a claw into it, breaking it and revealing a deep, deep pit, with a stairway leading down, the architecture looking…ancient, even for the others like it down here*

*Without any hesitation Marr begins the descent*

Bah, that was a weak and feeble attempt.

And I don’t scream, more of a roar, but nonetheless I will demonstrate.

*Marr opens their jaw and can only get a single second of a roar out before their start coughing and wheezing*

Voids below stupid dust and ash getting in my throat again oh silk please excuse me-

*..This goes on a while*

*Marr enters the room containing the diving bell, hanging over the pool of lava, with below all that lava and fire being…the abyss*

…Here I am, about to jump into lava. And it seems to burn that much brighter than that of the lava in my home…

*Marr holds up the magma bell they acquired from that smith* …You had better work.

*Leaving no time to back out or hesitate, they leap straight in*

*…It hurts, despite the bell, the pain is like something Marr has never felt before, it’s agonizing, but they cannot scream. So they endure. For their friends, for Tibby and…for Tibia, they would endure.*

*After what feels like eternity Marr sinks below the lava and falls to the ground with a thud, lying there only half conscious, but miraculously alive thanks to that magma bell, now nothing more than melted scrap next to them*

*With a groan, Marr gets up on shakey claw, grimacing in pain and barely stays upright*

It…It worked…I’m alive-…I made it-

…No time to waste.

*Marr begins their trek through the abyss, unaware of the dangers that lurk, only caring for that chance to…to see her again*

(Ooc: so uh…yeah I’m back, I guess i didn’t really say anything and just disappeared for a while but I just was feeling pretty unmotivated to do anything with this blog cause i didn’t know if people really cared, but…I do want to at least finish this story. We’ll see what happens after that)

Yes I…I’m venturing down there, with this magma bell I just acquired from a smith I should be able to make it there…I hope.

I will try my best to be safe…even if for the first time in a long time I feel…scared.

I have no doubt that I might get hurt and I will not have anyway put themselves in danger for what I’m doing, even if you can handle yourself down there.

…I’ve been told of what lies beneath us, the abyss. I need to go there.

And I was told of how someone had ventured down, with a diving bell that could protect you from the lava during the descent.

…Though I don’t believe this would work for me, surely the bell wouldn’t be big enough to accommodate my size.

That’s why I need your help. Is there some other way of accessing the abyss? Another invention? A different route? I can’t…I won’t give up on this, I need to do it.

We… do not think so? There is a shaft under the diving bell where lava fades to the darkness of the void the further you go down.

We have a little trinket called a Magma Bell that can help ya’ on the way down, for a few rosaries, of course!
