I finished the second page!! After another 4 years!

made some things!!! second go ever at embroidery to seal a hole in my work jeans, and the two cross-stitches I sent that nerd from TWRP which should theoretically be in his possession now. The VVitch pattern was also my first go at dyeing/tea staining fabric for cross-stitch and I’m really happy with how it turned out. (I just wish there was a way to show off how sparkly that red thread is! The effect is great but doesn’t show up at all.)

I found a keytar shaped ornament on amazon and knew what needed to be done

I needle felted things for two of the TWRP boys! Made a lil Rufus for Doctor Sung and a lil Ashy Slashy finger puppet to give to Meouch! I'm still not very practiced at needle felting but I'm pretty proud of how Gooby turned out.

I haven’t posted here in! Months! I haven’t been accomplishing much of anything on anything. BUT! Have y’all seen the loopy yarn? The super cheaty yarn with the loops built in so you just knit it together with your fingers? That’s insanely soft?? Guys I love it i made this whole blanket in less than a week and it was just a week of having my hands buried in this soft-ass yarn every available waking hour

10/10 good shit I’m never coming out I’m gonna live in this blanket forever

Should’ve put this on my craft blog probably but it’s TWRP so it belongs over there anyway. He’s far and away the most complicated thing I’ve felted so far so I’m happy with how he turned out even if he’s not perfect :)

December was an awful month for cross-stitch scissors bc the venue I saw CHVRCHES at made me throw out my needles and scissors when i went in there and then i managed to lose my replacement scissors on the plane to LA anyway what i’m saying is i had to buy a new pair bc they were out of the type i wanted so i went with a cheapy $4 pair and they cannot cut thread. my embroidery scissors cannot cut thread.

#that's what they're marketed as too #like i got a $2 pair of kids' safety scissors in a random convenience store by the murdervenue in LA and they were better than this #'embroidery scissors'
