It's #pinkwednesday again and after hearing so many good reviews on this @glowrecipe serum I had to pick it up. I'm not sure if I have too much faith in Instagram or if I'm just a glutton for punishment but I'm going back and trying more gr after determining that most of their products don't work for my skin. Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone had a great last week. I'm just sharing my thoughts today on this @sioris_global toner. Having dry sensitive skin, I tend to use hydrating toners. This toner is not that. Had I looked at the ingredients before ordering, I would have realized that. This toner is definitely more of an astringent toner with a heavy scent. It wasn't made for my skin but it has helped my partners skin. It's helped to reduce the appearance of blackheads but did add a little dehydration. The dehydration was something we could handle by adding hydrating products elsewhere. Overall I'd say this is a pass for me but there are tons of other sioris products that are great. I almost missed out on #texturetuesday but I'm sneaking mine in after 11 🤫 This @iunik_official Beta glucan daily moisture cream is amazing. I got this as another one of my monthly gifts from @credithink and I'm absolutely in love. Beta glucan is an ingredient that isn't super popular here in the states but has a lot of popularity in Korea. It's more moisturizing then hyaluronic acid and to me feels more lightweight. I've got the #mondayblues After taking a few days off Instagram I wasn't really feeling it this morning. But I got myself up, did all my shots for this week and here we are. It actually feels a lot better to have it done. This @keepcool_global oil was one of my gifts this month from @credithink This facial oil has a lot of great plant oils that help deeply moisturize the skin. Since this is all natural you will want to store it away in a cool dark place. This oil was a little heavy on fragrant ingredients for my skin but my husband's skin responded well to it. So I'd say that if you have Sensitive skin maybe skip it but otherwise it has a pretty good mix of ingredients. Today's #friyayfaves inspired by @the__glow__girl are my goodies from my @jbtycollection box. This japanese beauty box is a curated box of clean and sustainable beauty from Japan. If you want to know more about the products included keep reading. . . The @biolab.jp creme brilliante is a thick cream that's paraben and mineral oil free. There is a fragrance to this as it does have rose, ylang ylang and lavender. Surprisingly this formulation didn't irritate my skin despite having the usual culprits. I patch tested it before full application and when I realized that my skin felt fine I dove right in. This is gonna be a winter fave of mine. . . The @kewtopia_official handecorte hand cream is a super hydrating body cream that has great ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides and jojoba oil. As an esthetician my hands can take a beating from all the products that I use both on myself and others. I always need a hand cream nearby to keep my hands taken care of. . . The @perfectone_usa moisture gel was my favorite of the bunch. This is a gel texture moisturizer that has seven different types of collagen. This hydrating gel goes on easy and sinks in fast. It makes my skin feel hydrated, plump and smooth. . . The last in my box is the #laviep Moist APG emulsion. First off, I've loved everything that I've tried from this brand. This emulsion joins the others in my love for the line. This emulsion has great ingredients like ceramides, proteoglycan and licorice root extract. This is a light gel texture and applies beautifully. It has a very nourishing feel. . . Overall, I really can't recommend these boxes more. Another #pinkwednesday and unfortunately today I bring you another fail. I was hopeful that this @pacificabeauty spray would be great to layer over makeup for extra sun protection but holy cow did it burn. Now it's important to keep in mind that I have very sensitive skin so what doesn't work for me may work for you. However this has a very strong scent to start which should have been my first hint. I sprayed it on and after a couple minutes both my eyes and my skin started burning and turned red. I washed it off completely and used soothing products but even a couple days later my skin is still irritated. I think that if you're a fellow sensitive skin girl stay away. Happy Monday! I'm decluttering my collection and I'll be sending these beauties away. All tested except the @shiseido and @caudalie which I didn't even bother with because they both use a lot of fragrance typically in their lines. I'm not anti fragrance I'm just very sensitive and have rosacea so I have to be very careful. Here's some #5secondreviews for the rest. . . . 💀 We can link these next products together in the same category-irritated my Sensitive skin due to fragrant or other sensitizing ingredients. These all literally burned like hell. @tartecosmetics @peterthomasrothofficial @youthtothepeople @freshbeauty @farmacybeauty . . 💀@tatcha dewy skin cream has the classic tatcha scent and some sensitizing ingredients like gold . . 💀@sundayriley the texture is weird. Straight up just weird. There's also a lot of denatured alcohol so I'll pass. . . 💀 @olehenriksen I honestly can't remember if there's a product that I really really love from this brand🤔 This irritated my Sensitive skin and had a really strong scent. Happy #selfcaresunday today I woke up feeling like my skin needed a little TLC so I grabbed for my @avajarusa whitening yellow LED cream mask. This mask fits my face great and stayed put while I ran around the house making breakfast. This mask feels super hydrating and has 9 essential amino acids, arbutin to block melanin production and brightening ingredients glutathione and quercetin. It's #friyayfaves inspired by @the__glow__girl and I'm raving about the @madesimpleskincare face wash oil and serum. First off, the packaging just matched my lamp so well that I had to put them back in the box to photograph. The products themselves are packaged in glass and are organic, cruelty free and vegan. They also allow you to customize the packaging to get it with a cap,a dropper or a pump which is awesome and I wish more brands did this. . . The rosehip chamomile serum is made for sensitive skin and formulated with both unrefined oils and essential oils. Sometimes I can be sensitive to fragrant essential oils but this didn't irritate my skin in any way and actually seemed to calm and reduce redness from my rosacea. . . The Chamomile Palmarosa face wash oil was my favorite of the two. Or worked really well at removing my makeup and being my first cleanse. This leaves my skin clean and hydrated and ready for the rest of my Skincare. . . . What are some of your #organicskincare faves?
