c l a y didn’t bother to commented on her guess. there was no point in trying to continue on if he just wanted some peace in quiet. but in a way, it was weird for him to enjoy some type of company from someone who didn’t seem to try so hard. as he heard her shuffling, his eyes darted to the stack of papers along with the short story in hand. he huffed. “ sucks, “ he spoke out loud. forced work never sat well with the blond, but he wasn’t one to assume that out loud for her. she could have been doing it because she wanted to. “ why ?? “ he asked wanting an answer of his own wondering.
Looking over at him with more confusion in her eyes, Sky asked the obvious question. “Why what? Why did I assume what you’re reading? Why did I tell you my name? Why am I reading this? You’re going to have to be a little more specific.” She could tell just by the way he handled himself that he didn’t like talking to people much, and who was she to force him, but if there was one thing she hated, was when people didn’t explain themselves clearly.
