As The Sims 4 recent update (12th May 2026) added a new ‘base layers‘ category/slot of accessories, I’ve updated all my accessories that fit in this category/slot.
You can now download 20 new CAS items in my latest Patreon post.
The post also features a complete list of all updated items with direct links back to their original releases. All items' original posts on Patreon already have the 'Base Layer Versions' added and are available for download as well.
Another thing that is important to talk about as they also involve the recent update, and it’s about the recolor accessories for items that I have done in past (that is a lot); and in this case, I’ll have to study them case by case, and see if there is any necessity for updating any of them.
My criteria will be if the actual location of the accessory impacts the gameplay or not.
For example, if it’s a top with long sleeves and the acc is located in the wrist/bracelet category/slot I will not make a new version of it as it doesn't impact using it with other cc and opens the possibility to use a base layer as well.
Or in contrast, an item that would be nice to use with gloves but the recolor acc uses this slot, so in this case I’ll update this item and add a new .package and update the post (plus send notifications).

Somehow, after multiple repairs and deep sighs of exasperation I finally got the game working. I saw something on reddit about script mods being an issue so I took out all non-essential script mods and the game is functional. Here's hoping with a little time I can get my lighting mods back in the game but for now I'm willing to live without them.
I can't tell you how relieved I am!!!
Before all of that mess, I did get a couple grabs of Phoenix showing Tomax her belly before their song Indigo was born, who is the infant in the second image. He's a copy and paste of his momma. I am unfortunately going for all female heirs so the pair will be trying for another baby soon.
Spent some time in CAS working on my new sim to restart my Spellcaster Legacy Challenge. I can't believe I never saved my previous heir to the gallery. I won't be making that mistake again.
This is the new founding sim, Phoenix Ambrose. Right now her goal is to write her first book and adopt a kitten. (I'm thinking a little orange fluffball will be fun.) She came home with a promotion from her first day of work and the Glimmerbrook welcome wagon took her out to celebrate. One of the rare time's she'll break away from her computer or her research.
I've taken some time to think about the state of EA and TS4 and how I feel about what is happening. At first, my knee jerk reaction was to quit playing the game. And I did for a while. But recently, I've been going through some rough personal times and find myself missing the creative outlet I found in the game. So I decided I will continue playing on a small personal level.
HOWEVER
because I do not wish to give EA another cent of my money I will not purchase anything they release from here on out. There's plenty of cc and I'm happy to use that. I also will not use my time to promote the game in any capacity on social media outside of this tumblr. So anyone who wishes to keep up with my gameplay, watch this space.
I also have bad news...
It just happened to be at the WORST time, because the roll out of the new marketplace corrupted my cc, saves, tray files, etc. So I'm starting again from scratch. Which sadly means all of the series I had are gone. The only one I will restart is my Spellcaster Legacy because I barely got to play into the 2nd gen.
I haven't been recording because ✨LIFE✨ but I have been spending a lot of time with my favorite sims family. So here's some big recent updates.
○ Esther and Michaela got married at the family camping trip.
○ Esther passed not long after and Michaela a day later while mourning Esther's grave site.
○ Rosemary and Nyon had their wedding
○ And their second child Pax is now an infant.
I also have updates for the Spellcasters Legacy but now as many as for this household so I'll post them a little later.
Since there seem to be some issues with the original google doc, I've made this tumblr version for my Spellcaster Legacy. I did refine a few things (I was confused on some lot traits before and wanted to make other gens less redundant), so if you have any questions please let me know and I'll reply as soon as I'm able.

Compatible with the infant patch! Newborn skin tone and eye color will match their genetics! I did some light testing with my non-default eye colors and it seemed to work with them too. I removed my default bassinet replacement when the patch came out, so that hasn’t been tested, but I suspect there will be compatibility issues there.
This is an item that a kind simmer asked me to do awhile ago, I had some older crystal grids, but they wanted the textures on the Crystal Creations one, so I remade them. Here it is for everyone!

Serenity and I got nostalgic and decided to dive deep into the twilight universe. We created a total of 14 items, 6 hairs and 8 pieces of clothing that will give your Sims that melodramatic look of a 100 year old teenager...
My part of the collection includes 6 hairs, 1 Male, 1 Children's and 4 Female.
Just a simple update for wallpapers I know people love. I did have new versions, but people would need to re-apply the wallpaper, which isn't ideal. Not having the originals, I redownloaded and ran through S4S' batch fix and reuploaded them. DX11 is a preat improvement for the performance for the game, so fixing this issue will mean more people can enjoy the stability.
