You Saw Nothing 👀

Somehow, after multiple repairs and deep sighs of exasperation I finally got the game working. I saw something on reddit about script mods being an issue so I took out all non-essential script mods and the game is functional. Here's hoping with a little time I can get my lighting mods back in the game but for now I'm willing to live without them.

I can't tell you how relieved I am!!!

Before all of that mess, I did get a couple grabs of Phoenix showing Tomax her belly before their song Indigo was born, who is the infant in the second image. He's a copy and paste of his momma. I am unfortunately going for all female heirs so the pair will be trying for another baby soon.

Spent some time in CAS working on my new sim to restart my Spellcaster Legacy Challenge. I can't believe I never saved my previous heir to the gallery. I won't be making that mistake again.

This is the new founding sim, Phoenix Ambrose. Right now her goal is to write her first book and adopt a kitten. (I'm thinking a little orange fluffball will be fun.) She came home with a promotion from her first day of work and the Glimmerbrook welcome wagon took her out to celebrate. One of the rare time's she'll break away from her computer or her research.

Back to the beginning.

I've taken some time to think about the state of EA and TS4 and how I feel about what is happening. At first, my knee jerk reaction was to quit playing the game. And I did for a while. But recently, I've been going through some rough personal times and find myself missing the creative outlet I found in the game. So I decided I will continue playing on a small personal level. HOWEVER because I do not wish to give EA another cent of my money I will not purchase anything they release from here on out. There's plenty of cc and I'm happy to use that. I also will not use my time to promote the game in any capacity on social media outside of this tumblr. So anyone who wishes to keep up with my gameplay, watch this space.

I also have bad news... It just happened to be at the WORST time, because the roll out of the new marketplace corrupted my cc, saves, tray files, etc. So I'm starting again from scratch. Which sadly means all of the series I had are gone. The only one I will restart is my Spellcaster Legacy because I barely got to play into the 2nd gen.

I haven't been recording because ✨LIFE✨ but I have been spending a lot of time with my favorite sims family. So here's some big recent updates.

○ Esther and Michaela got married at the family camping trip. ○ Esther passed not long after and Michaela a day later while mourning Esther's grave site. ○ Rosemary and Nyon had their wedding ○ And their second child Pax is now an infant.

I also have updates for the Spellcasters Legacy but now as many as for this household so I'll post them a little later.

Newborn Replacement V3

Compatible with the infant patch! Newborn skin tone and eye color will match their genetics! I did some light testing with my non-default eye colors and it seemed to work with them too. I removed my default bassinet replacement when the patch came out, so that hasn’t been tested, but I suspect there will be compatibility issues there.

Classic Wall Sets - 16 Walls Updated for DX11

Just a simple update for wallpapers I know people love. I did have new versions, but people would need to re-apply the wallpaper, which isn't ideal. Not having the originals, I redownloaded and ran through S4S' batch fix and reuploaded them. DX11 is a preat improvement for the performance for the game, so fixing this issue will mean more people can enjoy the stability.

SIMS 4 GSHADE PRESET : ROSEY LIFE

Someone was curious about what preset I use in my games, so I thought I'd share. I was looking to warm up the colors in game to have more pinks and blues, as well as bright highlights and deeper shadows. I'm still fairly new using this program so I'm not sure how much help I can offer with technical issues but I will do my best to help if I can.

GShade ver. 5.1.1 DirectX9

I do not know how this preset will look like with the update to DirectX11, but I hear it makes some preset look different. So proceed with caution.

Snowflake riding a a roomba was the highlight of my game tbh. Rosa finished her social influencer career and is now flying through the freelancer fabricator to finish her master maker aspiration. Noelle also flew through her high school studies and graduated early. She celebrated by inviting her crush on a date to the romance festival and had her first kiss! She also is attending Foxbury for a distinguished degree in computer sciences and has almost maxed out her programming skill. She also has the connections aspiration so I anticipate she will start very high in her programming career after graduation. In the middle of her second term she aged up into a young adult. I anticipate moving her out and setting her as unplayed once she graduates as well. Rosa has saved up 1 million simoleans to gift to Noelle so we can build her house and have her expenses covered.

I intend to save Noelle and probably drop her into other games as a townie.
