PAST

In the year 19 bby, Luke was born to Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala, along with his twin sister Leia. Shortly after their births, they were separated, and Luke was sent to live with his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

Luke lived a simple life of a moisture farmer, though they always wished for something more from life. They wanted adventure, just something to happen in their life that didn’t just involve the plain boring scenery of sand that surrounded them. If only past Luke could know how much they would miss the home they had known for so much when they found it gone.

It felt like everything had happened so fast, one moment they had just obtained 2 new droids with their uncle, and the next moment, they was leaving Tatooine behind, the remains of his house, as well as his past life, burning as they fled.

Over the next 4 years, Luke would honestly struggle to recount everything that happened. He teamed up with a smuggler, saved a princess, whom he later found out to be his sister, he lost a mentor, joined a rebellion, blew up a death star, found a new mentor, became a jedi, found his father, fought his father lost his hand, saved some friends but lost one, almost died by sarlacc, didn’t die and saved his friends, lost another mentor, fought on endor, surrendered himself to the empire, tried to help his father, got attacked by force lightning, saw his father, lost his father, and saved the galaxy. Yeah he knows, it’s a lot.

PRESENT

Presently, Luke spends much of his time trying to gather the jedi texts, as well as any information he could. He wanted to learn for himself, as well as to teach a new generation of potential jedis. Luke also finds himself seeking out those jedi’s displaced from time, hoping they will help him.

Luke also spends time helping the rebellion when needed. They did not feel right leaving without ensuring they finished helping bring peace to the entire galaxy.

Luke’s home base, as he calls it, is currently on Onderon, the current capital of the new republic. This is basically just in name only though, as Luke finds himself traveling around the galaxy quite often, following distress calls, and searching for jedis. Sometimes, just on those days when things feel almost overwhelming and chaotic, he longs for the simple life he once had, living in peace on Tatooine, not that he would ever admit that out loud. He loved getting to explore the galaxy, and he loved getting to do something more than be a moisture farmer, but just sometimes, he wished he could be just Luke once more…

PERSONALITY

Luke has changed in many ways since he left Tatooine, but in many ways he is still the same farm boy that left those years ago. They are still so curious and are idealistic to a fault, believing that everyone, even the darkest of evils, has to have some good, somewhere, no matter how deeply buried it was, and that it could be possible to save those lost to the dark, if one could just find the small good spark. But they have also changed. While he can still be impulsive and reckless, he has been able to curb some of the impatience inside of him, becoming more calm and patient after these years. He has matured from the young boy that he was when he first left tatooine, but at his core, he is still that idealistic boy who sought out adventure on the desert planet he once called home.

Luke felt his eyes droop as his head rested in the palm of his hand as he slowly sipped on the drink he had before him. He had sat in this place for what felt like days, though he supposed it was a few hours at most. He had been told that someone would meet him here with information about the ancient Jedi texts. But he was getting quite tired, and truly wished his contact would arrive soon. 

He felt someone approach him before he heard the stool scratch against the floor. He perked up slightly, looking at the person, before speaking up.

“I suppose traffic must have been bad?”

Jango wasn’t actually the contact this Jedi was supposed to meet. But he had his ways of getting information. The original had folded fairly quickly when faced with an looming Mandalorian, giving him all the info he was supposed to give to the Jedi waiting for him. A datachip that Jango tucked away for safe keeping. 

This had all been Jaster’s idea, and as Jango approached the human he hoped his buir knew what he was doing. They needed to know if the Sith had done something to Jango’s head. But he didn’t like the idea of dealing with Jedi.

“Something like that.” he said, removing his helmet once he was at the Jedi’s side. It wouldn’t do to scare him off.

Luke looked as Jango approached and nodded.

“It would make sense, this planet is no exactly uninhabited.”

He took another sip of his drink before continuing on.

“Were you able to bring the information? Not to jump straight to the point or anything, but I would like to ensure that I have the information.”

They looked at the man once more, watching him closely for a moment. They felt something in the force, a tug somewhere in almost the back of their mind, an odd feeling. They were unsure of what the force was trying to convey, but for some reason they felt that the two of them were both brought here for a reason.

Once it had been noted that the comms had gone down, Kylo had proceeded to an empty room and destroyed it. His saber pulsating as he held it, the blade shimmering off the floor below him. He drabs a breath, retracting the blade before placing it in its hilt. He removes his helmet, running a hand through his onyx locks as he opens his gaze, looking around the trashed room  before him. He felt better at least, and he knows that this mess? It was someone else’s to clean up. He places his helmet back on just in time to turn and see the door open. “What?” He barks the word with a bit of force behind it. He didn’t want to have company. He didn’t want to have to deal with others but he’d at least humor them. For now.

Luke wasn’t sure what they were hoping to find when they began to explore this ship. All he really knew was that he was draw here by a strong presence in the force. It felt familiar, yet not, and it intrigued him, though he supposed that had been happening more and more over the past three years. He found himself now sneaking aboard a vessel, and following the signature he felt so strongly. When he stopped at an open door, revealing a large amount of destruction and the source of the familiar yet unknown presence. 

“Well I suppose that is one way to sort out ones emotions.. I prefer to meditate myself, better to not allow anger to control oneself, as I’m sure you know. “

Time had seemed to pass far slower than they had planned or even realized. After all, the way that he had seen time, it was always fast. It always seemed to take the things they cared most about, including their own life. Still, Cassian wanted to be alone, for the most part. They needed time to think. Time to let their own death digest inside their system. Who was supposed to handle that right? Even if it had been true and they were currently alive, death was still death and it shouldn’t have been reversable. Cassian help questions that they figured no one else was able to answer, so instead, they simply just kept trekking forward, wanting to get back into the game again. Wanting to get back on the field of fighting. “If you’re here for something important, keep speaking. If not, keep walking.”

Luke often felt drawn to those in need of help. Many would say it was their obvious hero complex, but Luke would just say that they wanted to do their part to help. Now typically in the young jedi’s life, this meant things such as fighting battles, and saving planets, but every so often he found that it meant helping those that seemed to be in some form of mental turmoil. Which was why he had stopped to speak to the person before him. 

“Well I suppose many people may not consider it important, but I was just curious as to how you are? I feel like that is not a question we ask often enough.”
