good evening everyone i hope you’re taking care of yourselves !  i am peeking in to say that i will be revamping this blog  ( mostly just a clean - out , overhaul graphics maybe , that sort of thing ) . i miss writing luke a lot and i wanna come back :(  i’ll be deleting most of my ask box and most of my drafts for a fresh start , as well as cleaning out my mains list ( if you still wish to be there just let me know )

          CHIN  COMES  TO  REST   upon  kneecaps  ,   lithe  arms  encircling  his  legs  as  he  uses  its  pressure  for  comfort  on  such  a  cold  and  lonely  night .   his  aunt  offers  luke  fragmented  encouragement  ,   but  does  little  to  quell  the  disappointment  aching  to  his  core .   with  a  huff  ,   blue  eyes  cast  to  tattered  sheets  rather  than  meet  her  loving  gaze     (   because  if  he  had  ,   luke  feared  of  the  silent  tears  that  may  follow   ) .          “     it’s  not  just  that  ,   aunt  beru   -----   it’s  like  he  doesn’t  even  try .     ”

Luke had to have a very special bond with grogu for him to be okay with leaving din so readily. Both din and grogu have such a special connection, a loving bond akin to father and son, and for a stranger [luke] to be able to usher grogu with him meant that whatever connection they had in the vision stone was beyond our understanding.

As well, Luke feels bad about separating them. He doesn't want to split apart families when he, himself, had grown up not knowing his parents. He doesn't want to do that to grogu; to remove him from someone who cares so much about him. I definitely feel that the new order that Luke ushers in will not hold the same strict standards of the old ways. Here, he will honor attachments and family as a source of strength, and recognize the downfalls when one is unable to let go when needed.

          “     of  course  ,   and  make  sure  you’re  holding  it  like  so .     ”          HE  DEMONSTRATES  WITH  A  GENTLE  HAND  CURLING  AROUND  HER  OWN .   luke  slides  into  the  space  behind  her  ,   a  mere  shadow  of  her  form .   his  guidance  is  slow  and  patient  as  he  sets  the  languid  pace  at  which  calloused  fingers  graze  her  skin  and  lift  at  her  elbow .   he’s  methodical  in  the  way  he  studies  her  ;   the  saber  is  a  brilliant  work  of  art  awaiting  to  be  harnessed  and  used  to  the  fullest  power  the  kyber  crystal  allows .   for  luke  ,   his  own  saber  is  an  extended  part  of  his  soul  ,   and  how  he  allows  her  to  brandish  it  so  easily  speaks  for  how  deeply  he  trusts  her     (   for  my  life  may  balance  in  the  palm  of  your  hands   /   i  know  you  will  not  let  me  fall   ) .     with  a  quick  huff  luke  rests  his  chin  in  the  crook  of  her  shoulder  ,   leaning  against  a  head  of  loose  curls  and  letting  his  hands  fall  loosely  to  his  sides .          “     perfect   .  .  .   how  does  it  feel ?     ”
