"Uh, I guess you could say I was in need of a change. Somewhere better."

“We get them here and there. Most who intend on driving through the town end up staying long term. I guess the small town appeal grows on them more than they originally intended.”

"Or they just get stuck here." Skyler said with a small smile. "Yeah, I know once you come into this town you literally can't leave."

“Both.”

"Then I am well aware of both." Skyler informed her.

“Vampire… but I’m not evil or anything. I promise.”

"Don't worry, I don't place stereotypes on people. Whatever they may be. I'm actually a werewolf myself, untriggered."

"Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure I just saw blood on your shirt. Which either means you're bleeding or it's someone else’s."

“Is the fact that I can’t remember anything from last night a good thing or a bad thing?”

"Uh, I think that would depend really."

"As silly as it may sound, this whole town is peaceful to me."

He pulled his jacket together, zipping it up to better conceal the bloodstain on his abdomen. “Not that it’s any of your business – but it’s nothing. Drop it.”

"Easy, I only asked if you were okay."

“Yeah, born and raised here. That’s the case with most of the people who live in town.”

"You don't get too many new comers?"

“So, I assume you know about the issues surrounding this town?”

[skyxadams]

"Would the issues your talking about be the barrier or the supernatural?"

“Kind of, yeah.” The girl confirmed. Telling people about her witchy heritage was certainly easier than admitting she was also a vampire. “I’m a hybrid.”

"Hybrid, huh? So half witch half...?" Skyler questioned.

“I think I can do something about that.” Noelle closed her eyes and began to chant a simple spell under her breath, hoping it would make all the dust vanish.

Skyler watched in amazement as the dust cleared out of her place, as if it were magic. "You're a witch, aren't you?" Skyler asked with a small smile.

She followed her inside, placing the boxes down once they were in. “So, what’s brought you to town?”

[skyxadams]

"I really needed a change. I actually did a lot of research about this town before I choose to come here. It seemed like good fit for me."

“Pennsylvania.” He repeated with a nod. “I’ve never been, but I’ve heard it’s a nice place.”

"Uh, it's not terrible I guess. Depending on who you ask that is. Have you lived in Mystic Falls all your life?"

as the girl was walking down the oh-so familiar sidewalks of mystic falls, the brunette stopped dead in her tracks spotting the most beautiful flowers shes ever seen in her entire life. she bent down to run her fingers gently along the petals. “do you think the owners will be mad if i pluck a bouquet for myself??” hanan spoke aloud noticing these flowers were planted on someone’s property.

"I don't really know. Why don't you just go buy some?"

“Do you get a little kick out of being slow-minded?”

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Skyler asked before realizing the guy looked very upset. "Is everything alright?"

“I’d never refuse a drink, so it’s a deal.” Noelle tilted her head slightly to the side. “Well, Skyler… Welcome to Mystic Falls! What do you want me to do now?”

"Um, good question." Skyler said looking around the room. "I've never had my own place before... I don't even have a broom."
